First of all I will say sorry for any mistake on the spelling or the grammar in my post. English is not even my second languaje.
I would like to share my thoughts about the current meta state and I would appreciate some feedback, so let me know if you are agree or disagree with me.
I think the current meta looks pretty balanced, and with almost every class is represented and have at least one competitive deck (or almost competitive), so we could say its a healthy meta, but I feel like right now, it feels pretty unfair to play against vs almost all decks, or they are basically the same decks we are seeing since vanilla times.
Warrior: Aggro warrior could feel like something new, because we dont have much aggro warrior decks so often, but 18 of his 30 cards are basic or classic, so is an old deck with some additions.
Control warrior keeps feeling really boring to play against, and feels really unfair if you are not playing some specific decks that counter it.
Paladin: Again really unfair feelings playing vs both decks. Murlock is not that strong, but it feels than more than a half of times they coin Prismatic Lens on turn 3. If you are playing rogue, hunter, mage or druid you can autoconcede. The other deck is even worse. Like any combo deck, the Holy Wrath deck is really nasty. Quest paladin feels better, but I didnt faced a single quest paladin since Dr. Boom, Mad Genius nerf.
Hunter: I'm not facing mech hunter, and I dont really know why, because is still a T1 deck, or T2 at worst, this deck frustates me, but better if the people don't play it. And I am okay with highlander hunter, is a fun deck to play with and against, but I would like to write some words about Zephrys the Great later.
Rogue: Rogue is my most played class with almost 2000 ranked wins, and once again I am dissapointed with rogue. I love that class, I always make my own decks with rogue, playing deathrattle rogue since boomsday. Now I am playing a Bazaar Burglary deck with Tess Greymane and Captain Hooktusk with the pirate package and are really fun decks, but could be T3 at best I think. Once again rogue is forced to smash the face to have a chance of being competitive, and as happens with aggro warrior, that deck is 17-18 classic and basic cards, nothing new.
Warlock: I wont complain about warlock. Is my second most played class with 1400 ranked wins, but is a pretty dead class right now. Warlock only shines when they print really broken cards like Skull of the Man'ari and Voidlord combos with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. And since Doomguard gone to Hall of Fame, not even zoolock looks strong.
Priest: One the worst classes righ now to play against. Combo priest: again nothing new, full of basic and classic cards but with some broken additions that makes the deck disgusting to play against. You have to one shot all the minions on the first 4 turns or you are done no matter what. If you have a bad mulligan you can concede before starting, and what to say about High Priest Amet. If they play it on curve or with coin, pray for have a response or it's over. Quest priest at least feels newer and refreshing with only 5 or 6 classic and basic cards, but we all know how we feel about playing vs that many resurrects. But I wont complain that much about that deck and is not being played that much.
And here we come the 2 worst.
Shaman: Well, you start this matchup with a handicap, like the Dalaran Heist twist, your maximum board size is 3. If you pass that number you have high chances of being pwned by Mind Control Tech. You could build a big board with the risk of losing one minion, but losing 2 is too much. You can't really rush that deck, because they have really good tempo tools. If you play slow, they have a really big burn potential, and the worse, the ability of refill the hand from nowhere in one second and keep burning you while you play with only 3 minions. I dont feel fine playing about this deck at all.
Druid: I dont really have that much problems with druids. I mean, is not that hard to beat them. But I dont understand why is no one complaining yet about Oasis Surger. Yes, I know druid needed something to recover the board after 4 turns with 1 mana less, but come on everyone complained with Flamewreathed Faceless being a 7/7 for 4, (6) counting the overload, and this is 10/10 with RUSH for only one mana more, but we could say one mana less if we count the overload. Even without the quest, the minion is broken. 6/6 with rush split in 2 minions for 5. pretty better than Restless Mummy, and I think that is a pretty strong card.
I could be more or less fine to face 1 Oasis Surger, but when the opponent plays 5 of them in a row (and I swear it happened) 2 from deck, 2 from Worthy Expedition, and the last from Flobbidinous Floop really feels a sh*it.
And finally, my words about Zephrys the Great. I think highlander decks are pretty fun, are decks that makes both player think about the plays, and are a deckbuilding challenge, so I am okay with that. And dont get me wrong, I love the concept of Zephrys the Great, is something different and new, and is a card that makes viable the other 4 highlander cards of the set. But do you remember how did you feel that time that you had 10 hp vs that mage with empty board and empty hand and him topdecked Pyroblast?
But this is even worse, they can save that highroll for when they really need it. I really hate the feeling of the highroll, and yes, I know that in a card game, and even more in Hearthstone with that much random word in a half of the cards it has to happens pretty often, but in the other cards, usually the highroll potential of the word random, can go good or bad for both players, like the Mogu Fleshshaper combo with Mutate. You can have a early big 8 cost minion or you can have Hir'eek, the Bat. But with Zephrys is like you always have the choice to have the good highroll when you need it.
And I think that all I wanted to say. I would appreciate some feedback and let me know if I am right with much of that or I am just a little bit hater.
And once again, sorry if there are much grammar or ortographyc mistakes.
And I supose it's another "don' t critizice my deck" post.
I dont complain about highlander hunter as I said, and is one of the strongest decks right now, so no, is not one of these posts. Thank you for your constructive feedback.
The only problem I have with the meta is actually Shaman. It's the only class that goes beyond it's class core weaknessess and makes it not existent. The value that you get from double battlecries is simply retarted and the damage output you could possible get from lackeys (either 2 damage or spell discovering) is also a huge bummer.
PS: I am Rogue main too and I feel also disappointed. Class that you used to be one of the most enjoyable thanks to non standard gameplay has fallen to be the most boring aggro/tempo archetype.
I think with the recent warrior and mage nerfs everything feels really balanced overall, even mage has a decent highlander deck, so idk why are you acting like mage doesn't exist. I think the only problem right now is priest, but i think that's because of classic cards like inner fire and divine spirit, and the fact that blizzard keeps printing resurrection cards despite it being hated by everyone. Murloc paladin also feels strong when they get the tip the scales by turn 4 or 5 or whatever but i think it's nowhere near broken as pre-nerf mage, since they can't highroll everygame and when they do, if you have a board clear (or if you are playing a hyperaggro deck that can kill them by turn 4-5) u are alright.
Also i think u are treating way too soft to rogue and warlock, zoo warlock is definitely a good deck, but i do agree some control cards may be buffed/printed to help make a control/quest warlock legit deck, although i definitely don't want to see something as broken as cubelock was. As for rogue, tempo rogue is still a good competitor. I also have a soft spot for thief rogue but I don't think a thief/quest deck will ever be a strong T1 deck ever, due to it's RNG nature. And deathrattle rogue was never a thing in standard anyways (it's ok in wild though), so I don't think it will ever be.

Yes, I know tempo rogue is a good deck, but that's why I am complaining about. Rogue is forced to play the same deck always to be competitive. Just change Elven Minstrel and Prince Keleseth for Myra's Unstable Element and Waggle Pick and other 2 more cards, and you have the same deck again after a rotation.
And I supose it's another "don' t critizice my deck" post.

Highlander Hunter "strongest" lol, did you read some meta report from two weeks ago ? Shaman, Priest and Warrior all consistently beat Hunter and even afk Druid is decent against Hunter.

WEll, didnt played since last month, but i reached legend with it with no trouble and felt a strong deck

Hunter was good before nerfs because it farmed Mages, but now Shaman, Priest and Warrior all can easily win against it. You can still climb to legend with it, as it doesn't have very polarising matchups, but it is nowhere as good as current T1 decks, namely Control Warrior, Quest Druid, Quest Shaman and Combo/Aggro Priest.
As soon as i saw the title i was like "ok another salt post about the meta" then with ur first paragraphs u proved me wrong but then u made a full 180 and just resorted ti the classic post of hating the meta just like every other underskilled player. The only thing i can agree is murloc paladin. Its a totally fair deck if it wasnt for the prismatic lens on 4 every game. Sometimes tip the scales even on 8 can be nasty if u have a low health.
The meta is balanced and the fact that classic cards and basic matters is the sign that uldum expansion was pretty good but not broken.

My first sentence about the meta was "I think is pretty balanced". The prove is that almost all the classes have playable decks, I just pointed that some decks have some plays that feels unfair.
I actually think we’re still pretty early in this post-nerf meta cycle and that a lot of decks still need development. And there may still be some decks that can emerge.
The only decks that feel really bad are Priest and Murloc Paladin. And Murloc paladin is just a trash deck with 1 good highroll, so it doesn’t even feel that bad.
Whoever told you that sharing your feelings is good is wrong.
You should be embarrassed by this statement, but people like you are immune to that sort of thing, which explains saying it in the first place.
You hit the nail on the head about Rogue OP, it's face or don't bother if your goal is consistency and climbing on ladder. Sad state of affairs, but these things come and go in waves, I just hope Anka doesn't become a completely useless card like Myra or Graal or any number of useless Rogue legends.

So its another "I hate the best decks" topic...

Currently playing Dragon Galakrond Priest, Dragon Galakrond Warrior and Highlander Dragon Hunter.

that was in an aggressive deck that developed a board in the previous 3 turns. A 5 mana 10/10 is more manageable when the deck is playing catchup.

zeprhys ruining all the fun. i see it like cheating.
Most stupid deck of meta award: Murloc paladin
Most stupidest deck of the meta award: Murloc paladin+ zephrys
