With 2000 gold I can buy mini expansion but you can't buy the same with 20 packs earned. Fuck that, you can't even enter in the arena with a pack and 50 gold. You need to play the game if you think the only thing gold can do is to buy packs,  this isn't 2014 anymore.

Cards were in buckets based on their quality, yes, and how is it connected to balance?

So cards being in buckets specifically because of their WINRATE (not quality or whatever) is not connected to balance?

Cards with high wr were in the same bucket and these buckets had low frequency to show up during the draft.  They did this so people won't draft 5 Flamestrikes of Mind Controls.

There are literally 0 spells that are bad when played by Solarian

I just played against a warlock who killed himself with a solarian from 30 health, because he only played card draw and was already in fatigue

Do you really think your one-game anecdote at some random rank is proof of anything? Also, do you really think card draw is a bad thing?

As I said, if you want to play suboptimally, go ahead never pick Solarian or play her from FoP. I will happily farm mages that think like you :)

If you consider packs as 100 gold then yes 2 wins avg is probably but most people don't, since you don't have the choice of the pack. A good average for Arena is 5 wins, which seems low but is very hard for new players.

Cards were literally put in buckets based solely on their winrates. There was NO synergy-based decision-making in creating buckets.  Iksar also never said buckets were for "synergy", the only thing he ever said that they can balance as well as buckets without buckets.

Prenerf Astromancer this can be a issue but now? For 9 manas? Have multiples of them in the deck is risky, sure, sometimes he turn the tables in your favor and win a lost game but many in late game the chances for overdraw and die by fatigue is high.

No this is BS, go calculate your chances again. Solarian casts beneficial spells much more than bad spells, there is a reason she is an insta pick out of the discovery spell.

I play spell damage mage for a long time, Solarian Prime for 7 manas is a monster but for 9 is not that great, sometimes you draw cards but don't have more mana to play it, sometimes you reduce the cost of spells in your deck, tranform them or get a secret irrelevant but nothing helping the board, when happen is lose, you can't play a 9 manas minion no taunt and don't affect the board in any way and this happens more often you believe.

There are literally 0 spells that are bad when played by Solarian, but whatever you are entitled to play the way you like at low levels. In my experience, Solarian is an insta pick at top 200 legend.

1 win average is never enough and 2 win average is only enough if you get very lucky.  Also, buckets were never about synergies, they were about balance.

there just arent a lot of mage spell damage minions right now so the chance of getting it is very high. discover always shows class cards at a much higher percentage than neutral too

Neutral and class cards have the same discovery chance. This was changed 2 years ago.

The chance to get Solarian is 40% out of 1 discovery.

For 2 discoveries, it is already 65%.

    Lol nice balanced gameplay.

The problem with the arena is that it has an entry fee that beginners don't want to pay and many streamers just don't want to play a draft mode (duels & arena), so the exposure for the format is very low.

You can get at max 2 packs from week 2 - 7.

So not 12 packs in all only 2 if I'm understanding correct?

     Yes only 2 packs.

Yes, it is true that change isn't always good but it is also true that no change is NEVER good. There is only one option.

posted a message on Masters Tour: Orgrimmar - Results and Decklists!

What tells that there are only 5 viable decks? This tournament had over 400 players and all classes were represented, even Shaman. Just because you can only see 5 classes in this article doesn't mean there are only 5 viable classes.

Just as an example, you see no Druid here and 4 Priests but in reality, there were more Druids in the tournament than Priests, it is just that none of them qualified for the top 4.

If you follow tempostorm it’s the only tier 1 deck.  So it’s all perspective.

Tempoatorm's latest meta snapshot is based on stats that are 2-3 weeks old and is based on nothing. If that doesn't convince you how off it is, the fact that their no2 deck is token Druid should be enough.

Token druid is a solidly tier 2 deck so your argument is flawed.  The snapshot is only 6 days old so not sure how their info is 2-3 weeks old.

Tempostorm doesn't use data for their tier list, so it is worse than other tier lists like HSreplay and VS report. But Paladin is T1 broken in all of them.
