I want to start by saying that I HATE aggro decks. The state of the Meta is just super transparent and boring. Love control decks, and I really love playing Priest but we all know how that goes.
So I decided to look into a Murloc Pally, only because well I have yet to make legend and I'm trying to out rush the rush meta. Any success out there? I think i have a decent build (no clue how to post the cards, still a noob to the mechanics here) but so far its wrecking every aggro deck, and causing most control decks in the meta to GG after turn 5 or so.
It's cool, it may just not be viable to get to Legend with this build. I'm only at 9 so I have a long way to go.
I appreciate the link, I actually never thought of running a N'zoth Murloc blend. Makes sense though, quick start to keep up with the rush, and then a heavy finish with N'zoth.
As a huge fan of Murloc Paladin pre-Standard, and just as a person who understands deck building, that deck seems terrible. I don't know why you would run double Vilefin Inquisitor and Sir Finley Mrrgglton, the fact that they're both Murlocs is irrelevant. Additionally, there's so much better card draw for Paladin than Coldlight Oracle, which only ever really works in mill and freeze type decks, the lack of healing means this deck loses to any deck with more tempo and synergy (it might be surprising, but Midrange Hunter and Aggro Shaman would just win almost every time), and the Anyfin Can Happens can mean nothing towards pushing for lethal/surviving if you don't roll for Bluegill Warriors and Murloc Warleaders.
Murloc Paladin is traditionally a midrange deck with heavy finishers, but without Old Murk-Eye and many of the midrange cards that made Paladin so strong pre-Standard, it has to change. However, stuffing as many murlocs as you can into a deck doesn't make it more powerful than running a few murlocs. The build you made is very much aggro/tempo, so if you're looking for control, try taking out some of the "summon a 1/1" Murlocs, add a few Wild Pyromancers, and put in tons of heal. The current Murloc Paladin is a whole lot of healing, removing with your minions, cycling through your deck super quickly, and setting up for Anyfin Can Happens, which the first often will be used to trade and make your second one stronger. Also, Murloc Knight is really only strong as a midrange card, and doesn't help unless it 100% of the time rolls for a Bluegill Warrior or Murloc Warleader. MK was mostly ever played in decks that have little to do with Murlocs, and just value, but after a while it was considered too slow and unpredictable after LoE.
Unfortunately, Murloc Paladin's ironic counter class, Priest, is being played quite a lot right now since everyone's trying to find "that deck Ben Brode totally specifically talked about" so until they give up, Murloc Paladin can't win many games without managing to avoid Entombs and Shadow Madnesses. Good luck, though, it's still a pretty fun archetype.
Oh, I thought you implied you didn't want to play aggro because you hate it. Well, my points still stand. The quickest, most consistent decks are Zoolock, Midrange Hunter, and Dragon Warrior. Aggro Shaman is falling off a little lately due to all the warriors, but it's still very quick as long as you mulligan well. Murloc Paladin just won't be quicker or more consistent than those decks right now.
Lot's of valid points, I can say that I run Dual Vilefin because typically I'll pull one with a mulligan and the other somewhere around 4 or 5. Essentially if I drop it turn 5 thats two hero powers with 3 new murlocs on the board. And if I only pull Sir Finley i'll use that hero power for the time being. And ColdLight will be removed, honestly card draw hasn't been an issue but this is just a rough draft. Definitely appreciate the insight!

No it definitely was not. It was a pure control deck and by mtg standards it was the closest paladin has ever come to a control deck.
MK was mostly ever played in decks that have little to do with Murlocs, and just value, but after a while it was considered too slow and unpredictable after LoE.
Murloc knight was good because the average outcome of stats was overshooting the curve. therefore they added bad murlocs like tinyfin and sir finley and today murloc knight is just shit card.

What the actual fuck.
Murloc paladin is the counter to priest, not the other way around. The matchup is one of the most lopsided in the entire game.
And according to vS data, priest is not being played quite a lot. In fact it's barely being played at all.
Shadow madness? .... what year is this? shadow madness has been played once in a while as a tech card against naxx heavy decks, to steal deathrattle minions. Now that naxx is out, shadow madness is unplayable and not played at all. Regarding entomb. Anyone with some experience with the deck knows to kill off your own warleaders with pyro equality.
If you are going to be speaking in declarative statements. Try to have some clue what you are talking about.
The Murloc Paladin I played wasn't the same Murloc Paladin that everyone else was playing, and yes, that was a control deck, but mine was midrange. Perhaps I shouldn't have said "traditionally." However, traditionally, Priest can just destroy Murloc Paladin with Entombs and denying your Murk-eye and Warleaders, which makes your entire deck pretty useless. Check the Class Popularity on the front page of Hearthpwn, according to that, Priests are being played insanely often. I'm going to agree with it because I'm seeing way more Priests and Warriors lately than Shamans and Hunters.
Yes, Murloc Knight got bad after LoE came out. That's what I said. The average strength of a random Murloc became too inconsistent and thus it wasn't worth playing it on turn 4, 5, or 6. But never did Murloc Knight ever fit in a Anyfin deck either way, because it was way too inconsistent regardless of what it got--it either has to be immediate damage buffers or chargers.
As a guy who basically mained Murloc Paladin before Standard came out, I can tell you quite sincerely that often times I would lose a considerable amount of OTK damage to a Shadow Madness, whether it be on a Murk-eye or a Bluegill or a Warleader. Then again, as long as I can get it killed off, it doesn't matter. Entomb certainly ruined many matches that I otherwise would have won, though. Priests, given they're experimenting like all fucking hell trying to find "that deck that Ben Brode totally specifically talked about," most Priest cards that have at least done decently well in the past are being tried again, and even the ones that are shit are seeing play.
I have a different take where I take inspiration from Zoobot (ikr) and have the dragons to fight in the midgame, bluegill and warleader only, and sylv/chillmaw/tirion with n'zoth. I'm currently 15-3 but i'm at rank 12 so....once i start getting up ranks i'm sure it won't do well, but i love it so far.

You and I must be playing some different games of Hearthstone. Because for the past two months I've only played against a considerable amount of Priests in Wild or around Ranks 17 and lower. Anything higher than r. 10 and it's 1 priest per 20 games (half of the Priest presence being due to the fact that Zetalot actually still bothers to stick to that class).
Also does Hearthpwn's Class Popularity counter measure in game popularity or the site popularity?

It measures decks being made in the hearthpwn deckbuilder and has no affiliation with battlenet or the ladder at all.
I also have watched Strifecro's latest Murloc Pally vids from this season on youtube and He seems to do very well with it, it is not an aggro build but maybe you should check it out? also like it was mentioned with so many murlocs your Anyfin will be a crap shoot which can be problematic unless you are just looking to flood the board randomly.
they killed OTK murloc with taking murk eye to wild only, midrange murloc...well mb for destroying casuals..
Or maybe just for me paladins + murlocs are fookin stupid idea, like a mages and beasts or something like this : D.
Agreed. HS devs have done a pretty good job with class flavor, but with Paly for some strange reason they've completely screwed the pooch. Murlocs and Secrets, WTF? Can anyone name ANY connection to either of those in WoW??
I assume you're talking about his N'Zoth deck? There's only 4 murlocs in that, so I'd hardly call that "murloc paladin" (i.e. in the context of the OP's/a4's question).
The old Murloc Paladin used 5 Murlocs, so... yeah, this one has to go with 4, but the idea is more or less the same. The standard one works relatively well in Wild.

Created the deck build
I played Strifecro's list for a short time last month. It was fun, the basic idea is if you draw your whole deck you just win.

Not much success in Standard, but in Wild I’ve been running this list and have the best WP of any deck in my (FTP) HS history:

i used to have high rate with otk murloc .. now it can raise another time in my opinion .. there re not so much nzoth/chtun in the ladder
