Looks like a Kvaldir, which are the seafaring/undead(?) versions of Vrykul. There's a legendary on the right of Wilfred in this pic, so not sure if they'd have 2 legendary Kvaldir.. but who knows? Definitely looks very shaman-y though with the shoulders and the lightning and the frostbrand weapon. Could even be the same guy but different pic.
The one shown behind Wilfred is 1 mana cost 2(?)/4. If it's a shaman card I'm guessing it'd have a huge overload, possibly even Inspire: Overload for such a crazy early body.
EDIT: -OR- the 1 mana cost 2/4 we see in the trailer could be a token?
Nah. Ragnaros is Neutral. I think they'll give Therazane to the Druids just to switch it up a little. :p
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
We don't actually. I mean it's cool that they released a new keyword but every single card having it will be sickening and I doubt Blizzard will be doing that. I'm thinking something like whenever you play a card gain ;

it wont be in TGT if that was the case, anivia is druid's class legendary in this expansion..... my guess for shaman would be nobundo, with therazane as neutral
Therazane better be shaman or neutral so I can run all 4 elemental lords in a deck, also that legendary kvaldir in the picture ended up being, http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/22322-injured-kvaldir. Which isnt a legendary at all so this could be the shaman legendary easy.
Well, one of designers said today that his favorite card is shaman one, but it isn't released yet, so I am guessing it is a legendary card that is awesome. The question is, do they think its awesome, or its really awesome. :S
Would like to hear Brode saying we aren't gonna be disappointed in upcoming shaman legendary.

It'd be nice to have a legendary that helps with shaman's weaknesses. Like a 5 mana 4/5 Battlecry restore 6 health to your hero and Deathrattle draw 1 card.
Therazane won't be the next legendary. i'm pretty sure she will be a neutral legendary if she ever does become a card. Also a earth elemental legend wouldn't go with the tgt theme as far as buffing or spawning totems. I"m sure she would interact with earth elementals if anything. Only makes sense.

I think she would summon an earth elemental as a battlecry, or maybe be like the new rogue legendary and deathrattle summon an earth elemental and go back to your hand/deck. That would fit her theme in the lore of escaping bad situations and using earth elementals to fight. I still think she should be a shaman legendary thought, it just fits.

I was thinking, mainly based off of the picture, that it would have a battlecry to cast chain lightning helping shamans with their problem of catching back up when behind. Right now the only option is to kind of catch up with lightning storm only to lose that tempo due to overload.
I really hope it brings crappy cards to viability as tacked on but value oriented options. Much how muster for battle brought lights justice to use since the 3 1/1's are the core of the play with the 1/4 hammer as gravy. Hopefully it adds either specifically frost shock to your hand or it adds 2 random 1 mana shaman spells or something of that nature. I'd love to play frost shock but without draw can't justify wasting a card slot on it (ancestral knowledge 4 mana to draw 2 cards wouldn't alleviate this problem either, it's too inefficient for draw).
A 4 drop, or a 5 drop (a slot shaman need now, piloted shredder and drake fill currently) would be great for a shaman legnedary although a 6 drop is also realistic even if it competes with fire elemental, a cheaper legendary is like van cleef or bolvar would be a good option for shaman.

If you compare ancestral knowledge to other classes draw then yes it sucks but imo its 3x better than mana tide totem and that piece of shit card is a 1 of in 99% of midrange shaman decks. When you look at it in comparison to far sight and mana tide its god tier.
Noticed this dude in the TGT trailer and it looks like he could be the new Shaman Legendary. Looks quite epic. Has a nice Vrykul-feeling.
Thoughts? :3

The curse of the unwanted sig space.
Shaman already has Al'akir and Neptulon. New legendary has to be Therazane :)

we know it will be a hero power thing, maybe a totem or something that buffs the totens
im hopng for a 4 mana legendary
Blizz </3 Shaman

How about if you text was phrased to: Whenever you play a card, add a Shaman Lightning Spell to your hand. It'd fit, I reckon.
Haha. ^^ Shamans have usually been screwed over, this time however it seems they'll redeem themselves! ;)

What about a card that reads "While this minion lives, you cannot be overloaded". It would have to cost around 8 mana to not be OP.
