A you rdy for a M I R A C L E?
This deck will be super good...
can i replace 2 To My Side! ?
NICE DECK NICK CHIPPER
what about crushing walls? Nobody expect this and it won me few games
I have also found this card to be awesome while most recently crushing a Lich King and large jade.
Nice deck!
Just play Karazhan, don't go to competitive without key cards
Cat Trick is a pretty important card as it let's you play around removal which is incredibly helpful for getting in those last bits of burst, so if you have the gold, I believe it's the 3rd wing of Karazhan (correct me if I'm wrong), I'd recommend getting it. However, if you'd rather save your gold for the new K&C cards, in my opinion Candleshot and Hunter's Mark can fit decently into a deck like this. I've also seen people run cards like On the Hunt and Grievous Bite, but I don't think they would be as good as the ones mentioned earlier.
Seriously guys, the card cost 100 dusts...
Yes, Karazhan is going out soon, but it's in 4 months. Yeah guys, 4 f***ing months !
At this point, just stop playing until next rotation... For a Legendary, yeah, maybe you'll think twice, but for a rare card, just craft it...
Wrong comment tree --
It's extremely hard to replace Cat Trick, unfortunately for those who don't own Karazhan. It gives you so much needed tempo as well as a stealthed beast that can help you get that Kill Command for 5. And since Wandering Monster is already in the deck there's not much you can play to gain that tempo advantage. I guess you can put one Snake Trap and one Venomstrike Trap, but it needs your minions to be attacked by the opponent, which is not always a condition that can be reached. One consolation is that Karazhan will be soon rotating out of standard and you'll be able to craft those cards if wild is your thing.
Because Cat Trick counteracts early removal or ramp. A druid that plays Wild Growth ends up taking 4 early game damage. Then his next turn he might have to be off-tempo to Wrath the 4/2. If he doesn't want to go off tempo, or he doesn't have the removal, you're in for *another* 4 damage. Cat Trick also clears out Stonehill Defender and other 4 health minions that could hit play without you having removal for it.
CotW has one single use, in the late game, to give your board state a bunch of stats, a single taunt, and a notable amount of face damage. That's awesome and great, and definitely counts more than Cat Trick, but it's also:
1) Dependent on your board (more creatures = more damage)
2) Happens pretty late due to heavy mana cost
2.5) Is a dead draw if you get it too early due to mana cost
3) But MOST IMPORTANTLY, it is not a secret, so it won't activate Lesser Emerald Spellstone.
4) It also doesn't do all of the things Cat Trick does above.
I hope this helps out.
Greetings guys!
It seems that I was the chosen one since I got the free hunter legendary which made me sad for a moment but then I saw this deck! I got really hyped about it and I decided to craft Deathstalker Rexxar and both of the To My Side!.
To be honest spell hunter is freaking fun! It is definitely really different experience if you compare it to the older archetypes. You have a lot of options what to do and I would say a lot of decisions to make.
In the video bellow I was matched against dragon priest which I found to be really popular right now at least from my experience. I managed to get good value from Rhok'delar and Rexxar but the fight was really long and finished in fatigue :O The second game was against jade druid - this was faster game druid did not get a chance.
I hope you will enjoy the video and if you do remember to subscribe! :) Have a nice day.
I wanted to craft rexxar for such a long time and now I finally decided.. meme hunter weapon forced me to do it haha :D
I guess ultimately it didn't matter, but you missed lethal at around 15:25. Should have hit face with the charge minion and Kill Commanded his face as well.
Yep I know about it someone told me in the comments.. I feel bad about it but it was the first deck that I tried when the expansion hit so I guess I was more hyped than usual and did not pay too much attention to possible lethals even though this was really obvious one :/
What are your thoughts on Hunter's Mark, Candleshot and Crushing Walls? Can/should they be put into the deck?
This may sound like a stupid question but when you play Tracking, what should be the priority cards to get in this type of deck?
Depending on the situation however the guaranteed priorities are DK Rexxar and Emerald Spellstone
