The way is to play slowly, get cards into your hand, chip away at enemy's minions, use brawl when necessary, buff your C'Thun and kill your opponent.
Is Cairne a good replacement for velkor?
No, Veklor is irreplaceable.
No, you need Velkor to keep you alive longer, Cairne doesn't really do that
lol
Did you make any changes or used same deck?
Thank you. :) I'll give it a go then.
Cheers
approuved . preist out , druide out warrior out chaman out just great it solve the problem of the moment best scenario brann + c'thun lethal 100% the minions are so strong even without c'thun
This is a great deck, even though it was made for tournament use, works decent in ladder.
Switched Slam for Acidic Swamp Ooze. (Would have used Harrison Jones if I had it)
Also there's a great need for a Doomsayer in the current meta, but not sure what to replace for it.
It's still not perfect, usually if you don't draw the right answers perfectly, you get demolished by aggro.
i'm still waiting for someone to make up the perfectly refined list of this deck type, it's really fun to play.
I agree, Elise makes a lot more sense in the tournament meta than ladder, unless you just happen to be facing a ton of control. In that case, I'd rather just use a non-C'thun control warrior anyway.
I actually found out there are three ways of making a C'thun Warrior work,
Now all that's left is to perfect this archetype.
what can replace Sylvanas Windrunner ?
Baron Geddon/Alexstrasza/Ragnaros the Firelord could work.
Why would you? just wondering, do you feel like it's better against aggro, personally I think C'Thun's Chosen is very strong when behind, however Whorshiper doesn't end up doing much for it's mana cost other than keep the 6 health away from face.
I replaced Doomcaller with Malkorok. I feel like I wouldn't utilize the ability of getting c'thun from the graveyard and Malkorok giving a random weapon tends to be a lot more useful than a random C'Thun ability with +2/+2 effect.
Works quite well in my somewhat small sample size. I just played 10 games and won 7. Here's the breakdown:
Wins:
Paladin (murloc)
Druid (C'Thun)
Shaman (Totem)
Warrior (not sure)
Priest (C'Thun)
Priest (not sure)
Mage (Tempo, I guess. Thought it was Yogg, but Yogg never showed)
Losses:
Paladin (aggro, buffs on small minions)
Warlock Zoo -- I made two stupid misplays or I might have won this one.
Warlock C'Thun Reno
Almost all the games went to fatigue, so it takes quite a while to play this deck. Wondering if there is room for Revenge.
Revenge was pretty nice in Kripp's Fatige list, although I feel like Doomsayer is better for the early aggro, if anyone could figure out a spot, do tell.
not working, first 3 games scoop on turn 5, so far behind the game is already over... Warrior is dead, and meta is worse than ever, aggro, aggro, someone fire Ben Brode
I have to agree with R0bitn3t here, I am playing my own variant of the deck, and it simply destroys aggro. They often concede before turn 10. Personally, I disagree with this list because Bloodhoof Valiant is a very strong card you want to fit in this deck basically always.
Also, despite having tons of activators for Acolyte of Pain and the crazy value this card can offer in term of cards, I often find the card is too slow against Aggro, and something you don't want to play against control so you don't fatigue first.
Revenge is another card you may want to consider. If you keep it in your starting hand against Aggro you can assure you will survive until turn 6 or 7 EVEN with the most terrible hand and draws you can imagine, and can still come back from there. I had to take Blood To Ichor for it, and even if it's not nearly as good when facing control or when you are ahead against Aggro, I wouldn't change back.
Elise Starseeker is a great card, and can often make you win in Fatigue; but to my taste a single, humble Doomcaller makes her rather irrelevant, as spawning a C'Thun sometime around turn 15 or so, to clear the board, and then once more when fatigue has kicked in to finish off your opponent tends to make you not want to ever Golden Monkey.
Sylvanas Windrunner is another card which is honestly not getting that much value all that often. I would like to cut her, but no idea what to get out the deck for her.
All in all, I can assure the deck is very strong.
For whatever reason I can't edit my own post. Just want to change "Bloodhoof Valiant" to "Bloodhoof Brave". Sometimes I forget name cards.
