Thank you for all the support! OS_TophatDemon here with the guide for this new Zoo deck that I've conjured.
Twitter: OS_TophatDemon ( HIT ME UP ON TWITTER FOR COACHING OR ADVICE AS MY FRIENDSLIST IS NOW FULL)
Battletag: TophatDemon#11515
Aprox. Matchup Favorability:
Warrior (C'Thun/control) - 40-60
(Although the C'thun is more 45-55 due to the lack of as many clears)
C'Thun Druid - 70-30
Control Priest (any variation)- 30-70
Freeze Mage - 20-80
Tempo Mage- 60-40
Aggro Sham- 60-40
MId Sham - 55-45
Pleb Decks(Meta has not fully developed) - 75-25
HOW TO PLAY:
This is Zoo! Fight for board control then once you have it, keep it. Kill most high-level threat minons such as Tunnel Trogg or anything else with may pose a future/escalating risk and keep going face from there. This deck comfortably wins games by turns 5,6,7,8 Depending on draw.
MULLY:
VS AGGRO:
Get that early game baby! Flame Imps/VoidWalkers/ Villagers/Dark Peddlers are instant keeps. If you have a good hand curve and/or the coin, Spawn/Imp Gang/ Dark shire (although you really only want to keep darkshire if you can afford to keep ritual or have a lot to play) THE KEY THING HERE IS TO GET MINIONS THAT MAINTAIN BOARD DOMINANCE, You need to ALWAYS KEEP things that either already synergize (knife juggler + 1 drops) or that are super sticky (like the aforementioned Imp Gang Boss). If you might be against another zoo deck and have the coin, Sea Giant wins you the game so always keep.
VS CONTROL:
This is your unfavored match up if it's against Freeze/Control warr/Or priest but IT IS WINNABLE if you just keep calm and collected. Here you REALLY NEED Instant threats and board presence like FlameImps/Villagers/Peddlers (for options or just a turn 3)/Imp Gangs to establish and keep control of the board. SEA GIANTS ARE CRUCIAL here and are very good to keep with the coin as the sooner you play them the sooner you can win (REMEMBER BGH WAS NERFED). Also this is when Councilman shines as you can instantly start buffing him and HITTING THAT SWEET, SWEET FACE before they armor up or are able to clear your board.
KEEP YOUR CLEARS IN MIND :
Don't play into nova+Doomsayer, Holy Nova, Revenge, etc UNLESS YOU HAVE ENOUGH IN YOUR HAND TO RESTOCK. Greed gets you killed here. If your board is fat and you have a few minions that are relatively unchallenged, don't dump your hand just to have a full board because when they clear it and you can't refill: YOU LOSE.
Hope this helps you guys out. Feel free to comment (I try to read every single one) or follow/hit me up on twitter( @OS_TophatDemon) for anything else. Love y'all <3 .
Stay Legend.
CHANGES:
-1 FLAMEJUGGLER/+1 LEEROY
-1 SPAWN OF N'ZOTH/+1 GORMOK
POSSIBLE CHANGES : -1 RITUAL/ +1 ABUSIVE
THIS SHOULD BETTER YOUR CHANCES AGAINST THE EVER-INCREASING CONTROL META
It's okay. People always hate the popular decks. It happened with freeze mage back in the classic era, it happened with face hunter in Nax (and really people hated this deck until standard came), people hated tempo mage (and they still kind of do) with BRM, and now zoo is being hated for being popular today. Sunrise. Sunset. Only era I can really think of that did not have a super despised deck is LoE. Face hunter I suppose, but they were pretty well controlled by that point with Reno decks. Hard to say. The point is, yo r opinion is one many share and I am sure after the next expansion comes out, you will hate a new deck. We can hope that Blizzard releases some cards to counter zoo. The only thing more hated than the meta after all is Dr. Boom. May he rest in peace in Wild Hell.
This is an amazing deck indeed, thanks for making most people happy! :) FYI/IMO: I've not tried this deck as i think that this is a cheap deck where only people who don't spend money will benefit from and the people who actually spend money (like myself) will be so frustrated losing to this deck. Bottom-Line: Cheap Deck - Made Many People Will Be Happy - The ONLY Way These People Rank Up N Fight Against People Who Actually Spend Money - No Respect To People Who Achieve Legend With This Deck

So, you are saying only people that pay to win have the right to win and those that do not pay have no right to have fun? Yeah no. Sorry, friend, but that is not how games work. I really hope you are never asked for input on game design. Also, what is with your random capitalization? Is your shift key stuck?
Is this a competitive deck that could reach legend?
Where is doommguard? wouldn't it be a good guard since you dump your hand so you discard nothing in the process of sommoning him.
There are situations for both. One is not better than the other. Besides the pros that RioHS mentioned, there are also cons to Leeroy. He is often stuck in your hand until the very end as a finisher. Zoo doesn't rush face, plays to control board and therefore games run longer and to later turns (unlike Hunter). If you get Leeroy early in your hand or during mulligan, it's basically a dead card and I would rather have any other card. Doom guard can be play on curve or when you have no to little cards in hand. It trades with most minions and gets a two for one value.
The doomguard + discard PO argument is not as common in most games. If you don't have a minion on board for you play PO first, then play doomguard, then you were probably losing anyway.
Doomguard is not the best choice, he's just "the best replacement" of Leeroy.
I don't speak for the OP, but you're right that the purpose of Leeroy is to burst for lethal. You want to hold him until you get past any taunts so you can go for face with him, ideally combo'd with Power Overwhelming as needed.
I can see the rare corner cases where you would need to use the charge to kill a beefy minion or you're dead, but I would argue that if it comes to that you're in a very bad spot to begin with, and although the doomguard sticking on the board after clearing the minion may in a rare situation allow you to turn a loss into a win, there's also a good chance that the 2 card discard could kill you there.
message me on twitter :)
Im playing Zoo in a fairly similar deck as this, but I found a lot of value in adding a Shadowflame to the roster.
Sacrificing a Power Overwhelming or in combo with a Abusive Sergeant it often swings the board in my favor. Being able to clear Emperors or a big Shaman board makes it well worth including for me
Nice deck, thanks for posting. Replaced Gormok the Impaler, Leeroy Jenkins and 1x Sea Giant with Dark Iron Dwarf, Doomguard and Argent Squire respectively.
Rank 11 -> 6 with 0 losses (most games against aggro/midrange decks), going to take a break now. :P
Really strong deck atm. Only had hard time against priests. Went from rank 15 to 5 in 2 hours. Substituted gormok and leeroy with 2 doom guards since I don't have them.
I understand crazed alchemist is good against doomsayer, but how is it very good against shaman?
Just played this deck from rank 7-5 on NA. I was on a win streak the entire time and played a variety of decks. The closest match up I had was a game against aggro shaman, but once you get board control it's game over.
I subbed Gormok the Impaler -> Dark Iron Dwarf and it worked well. I don't have Gormok the Impaler, but the case could be made that Dark Iron Dwarf gets his full value more of the time.
This deck can make legend easily; just has to be piloted well.
I dont have Leeroy and Gormok. That should I add instead of them?
This deck is so busted right now, it's insane. I mean it's a really hard deck to beat.
Thanks!
Dark Peddler and imp gang are very important core cards that I recommend you get
Leeroy
man Leeroy way better than Doomguard. i had so many situations when i had soulfire and Doomguard and so i couldnt lethal
