Miracle Rogue was first created by a player name Sveno. He created the deck before Hearthstone was even playable. Then sometime later after balance changes, a guy that went my the name of Travis built it again, and that is the original post on Hearthpwn. Then, it was nerfed again. After that, a very popular player named Kolento remade the deck in the summer of 2014. Finally, miracle rogue was nerfed again. The nerfs to both Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkinskilled the deck.
The History of Rogue
Beta Travis Miracle
Kolento Miracle
How can you have a miracle deck without Questing Adventurer? Wait - you don't have Leeroy Jenkins either!?
Questing is so terrible and just to slow, yeah I do have leeroy?
Oh yeah - weird! Sorry! So how do you avoid removal on the EVC with this deck? It feels like there's so few minions he'll get hexed, polied, silenced or assassinated every time? Or does that not matter because of direct damage?
I honestly didn't know QA was bad! I always hate facing them... I'd have thought you could easily get one to 5/5 when playing with a miracle deck, avoiding most cheap removal? I don't know, though, because somehow I've not got a single one in my collection, yet! ;)
You do not have to worry about Edwin VanCleef. All you have to protect is your Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
why are you trying to take credit for what is 99% of Kolento's deck?
Flood is not taking credit for the creation of this deck, only keeping it updated because it is still one of the most popular decks on the site even though it was outdated for a substantial amount of time.
Try to read maybe it can help you "I would like to give credit for this version to Kolento, I made changes myself, but he made a lot of the deck" -Flood(Myself)
"I would like to give credit for this version to Kolento, I made changes myself, but he made a lot of the deck" -Flood(Myself)
It's Kolento's deck for 97% with only one change. Nat (-) Conceal (+). That's all. No sense to post another equal deck.
thats exactly what i wanted to say,and 2 conceals arent good,-1 conceal +1 oracle is better imo
Yeah, but I have never seen Kolento's variation. Also I am not posting the deck I am updating the deck so people do not keep making the old one and failing.
now that you've never seen kolento's variation and you made the exact same deck, that i cant really believe :P ,not smt about you or kolento it's just that its the same for 29/30 cards, and kolento playtested miracle a lot be4 adding assassin's blade, which was a gr8 addition, then every1 copied ofc(including me),but if u just wanna keep it updated then good job, dont claim its your variation though
Are you stupid? I have given credit to him and a variation doesn't matter how many cards off it is still your variation ONCE AGAIN I am not even claiming this to be mine.
I saw people running decks like this so I updated it.
whatever,I talk in a polite way and u go nuts,i think some ppl understand what i mean but ok,no need to continue this
Reckful has been playing this kind of deck forever, always changing some cards, i don't feel like it's 'new'
next turn he gets executed :P
Leeroy is a MUST HAVE for this deck.
You can replace a Headcrack easily.
Also, you should try SI:7 instead of those mana addicts. Another thing to consider is going for Deadly Poison + Blade Flurry can make your life easier against aggro.
Nat Pag can replace the engineer, SI 7 agent and Jenkins are also good to this deck
I won't say this deck will be strong for today.
The point of this deck is get vancleef, mana addicts, questing adventurer and auctioneer.
However, if you want to have enough cards to feed both mana addicts and questing adventurer. You do have to get auctioneers. So it will have very low possibility to get two of them, even lower with a conceal in your hand.
The miracle playstyle itself is the most efficient you can play in any TCG, but IMO there are not enough cards to make it viable in Hearthstone atm.
This deck mainly relies on a single combo to win. Getting the right cards to do this FAST already needs a lot of luck and being fast is the key here, because you don't want your opponents to drop an Ironbark Protector or any other big taunter, just to give an example. A well timed Twisting Nether will destroy you completely, Flare counters the suggested combo of Edwin VanCleef and Conceal for just 1 mana.
What really helps this decktype is Tutors, like we had in magic. Cards that let you search your library for other cards to give you a guarantee to at least pull off your combo early. Card draw is also too limited. For this to work reliably you have to be able to grind through your whole deck within just a few turns.
As soon as I can get my hands on Edwin or Leeroy I will test this deck, but I expect it to be unreliable but fun to play.
Whats the highest rank anyone could get with this deck ? Does it seem possible to get Legend rank with it ?
