Hey this is JesusAtWork from the EU-Server.
I recently hit legend, playing a whole lot of this Combo-Shaman-deck to climb at higher ranks.
This might seem like a fun deck to mess around with but believe me that it's potential is limitless.
As you might be able to tell from the decklist, the goal of this deck ist to stall out the earlygame by clearing the board with the cheap shaman removal and make MAGIC happen in the lategame. Even if you fall behind early, Baron Rivendare with some good combos can turn the board back in your favor in no time.
The amount of value that you can get out of Reincarnate is mind-blowing.
2 11-11 Thaddii for 2 mana? sounds good to me.
or a 2 mana double-mindcontrol by reincarnaiting Sylvanas? pretty damn nice.
You will figure this out when playing, just mulligan for what will keep you safe and clean in the early and blow your opponent away lategame.
Try switching out cards according to the meta. A second Zombie chow or more cheap removal like the second Earthshock or a Forked Lighting can help that! Maybe also fin a Harriosn in there if you face to many Warriors or Paladins!
They will never expect this, cause nobody play these combos on ladder and that's why it is so effective. Give it a try and get your legend!
Changes some stuff to surivive long enough to make your combos happen!
Legend proof:
On another note:
It seems like this deck has gotten either amazing or kind of bad feedback so far, so I just want to clear some things up
This is a combodeck so it will not be as consistant as many other decks, but when it works, it works superwell. That's just the nature of combodecks.
Also feel free to make CHANGES. The given Decklist is strong against slower controldecks.
If you only face aggro you might wanna get more taunts or healing. This should be obvious.
Have fun ;)
any replacement for dr boom, sneeds and sylvannas? i don have legendarys :(
Sorry, but I have be join the people who say this deck is bad. It's WAY WAY WAY too slow and gets utterly destroyed on the ladder. And, to boot, it has next to ZILCH for card draw. One solitary Mana Tide Totem is not enough. You need a lot of card draw to fuel combos like the ones this deck tries to pull off.
It can beat slow decks. Sometimes. But that's about it.
And yes I have tried tweaking it. I lowered the curve, added an early game and some card draw. But it still didn't work.
Trying this in casual, I am facing a lot (A LOT!) of aggro currently. Having a lot of trouble against hunters, rogues and rush builds like warrior with Kor'kron Elite and other charge cards. Mostly I face builds which use as low cost as possible, as high attack as possible minions (3/2 drops for 2, charge minions etc), then hit face, but there are some slower cards that are hard to deal with, specifically Sen'jin Shieldmasta and Chillwind Yeti. What should I replace with taunts, and what kind of taunts, to survive long enough? Also, is adding Vitality Totem and Antique Healbot any good?
This deck is just for fun. It might beat your friend's homemade gimmick deck. But that's about it.
Forget infinite thaddius, how about infinite thezud/sneed? This deck is so fun.
Added Haunted Creepers and Antique Healbot to improve early game and survival.
Super fun deck, i used to run something similar with ancestors call, but ac is just too niche and often i lost because i had a deck based around drawing one card and if not gg. This deck is way more consistent and fun, but I have lost several games vs. aggro(mainly hunter) because i had no healing. The removal is good but if your too late drawing it you might have no chance for comeback. I subbed in an antique healbot for fire elemental and I'm really liking the change.
Interesting deck but I couldn't get anywhere with it vs any sort of aggro. Against aggro Hunter, I was pretty much below 8hp by the time I could actually get the reviving synergies going. Against Mech Mage I found myself doing nothing but spending mana clearing the board and never could stop defending to actually play my own board. Not sure how you are winning vs these aggro decks.
Just doing the daily in Casual.
I don't have Dr.Boom so instead I'm using a Gadgetzan Auctioneer, it's pretty good considering the large amount of spells run in the deck.
Who can you win with this deck ? mana curve is horrible. Half of deck is spell and still no enough to tempo...
Got that happen when I won the Sylvanas/mind control war over the "last half" of stalagg/feugen with a priest who figured out what I was going to do. ^^
Insta loses vs aggro
So much fun! ^^ Maybe not for ranked though. :P
Edit: Huge weakness is that your board is filled with totems, which take up space for Kel'thuzad's multiple deathrattles. I think you actually need to save removal to use on your own totems (but then, of course, you will probably have trouble surviving the early game).
Just got killed really badly by this deck. Didn't realize how a reincarnated Kel'Thuzad works. Must try it myself now.
Already running 2x Far Sight, and it's gotten me out of a lot of binds.
What did you replace for the two Far Sight?
I was already lacking the non-nax legendaries and Piloted Sky Golem (replaced with a 2nd Sludge Belcher), though I did recently just get Dr. Boom.
If I had the other 2 legendaries, I'd probably swap Nerubian Egg and the Rockbiter Weapons, maybe toss in an extra Earth Shock. Just based on my personal experiences.
What exactly is the mulligan for this deck?
I have been running a deck similar to this, only without the legends. I always played casual and it did pretty well but I never had the guts to take it up a notch. Good for you man, keep up the great work!
