Reward
Card Clarifications
- The effect happens to minions which are played and summoned. For example, Frogs and Sheep from Hex and Polymorph would become 4/4. (Source)
- Cards on the battlefield when Crystal Core is played will become a 4/4 regardless of active buffs on them. You can later on buff them with cards and they will retain those stats. (Source)
- Example: Edwin VanCleef's effect works as normal if he's in your hand after Crystal Core is played. It will just add the +2/+2 to the 4/4. (Source)
- The reward for this quest is Crystal Core.

Hehe. ... you get me wrong dude, I never hate on people who has superior skill, instead many of my favorite decks are inspired by their design. In another hand u just like those kids who are incapable to deal with the your oponents who know this game better. If there is any hearthstone championship has regulation that prohibiting abuse of low fee minions then you may have your point. However the real situation is quite contract to your mind. I suggest you go and check the top 8 decklists of CN EU Championship 2017, (http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/cn-vs-eu-championship-2017-playoff-top-8-deck-lists/) among half of the decks fall under aggro type with considerate appearance of Jade Druid.
Apparently this game is too big to your little mind which can only cry out with other "Ls" in here. :D
I've never played this card, but abusing the developer's inability to balance this game by playing a card that THEY put in?
Blizz is a professional AAA company with adequate access to the resources they need, and I'm sure, all kinds of internal playtesting.
Don't hate the player, hate the game (or in this case the developers).
"Abusing" an imbalanced card is NOT the same as cheating. Not even close. You're so wrong on so many levels.
Shame on Blizz for letting this out the door the way it was. Not shame on players who want to play a card that was given to anyone who wanted to play it.
After the nerf comes in will I get full dust after dusting it?
I'm so glad this damn card has been nerfed. Control decks might finally be playable again.
THE CHEMO HAS ARRIVED. Destroy this cancer! Nuke the site from orbit! It's the only way to be sure!
Rip
Got it 3 times, I HATE IT
Hope you didn't dust em lol
so recently i started playing hunter more frequently (before i played with my version of control hybrid shaman, jade & elementals) and i finally started to get some wins against them - and you know what, those wins meant nothing
it was a race. I don't let them fulfill their quest - i win, they manage to do it (and i don't have reach), I lose... nothing special, a completely brain dead strategy
edit: and i don't want to be forced to play this way, the card is a interesting and a fun one, BUT it turned out to be a nightmare on ladder
it needs some fixing, it's not a "fine" quest; the other quests don't offer the tempo swing that quick
Seriously fuck this card man wtf
Edit: They finally nerf it.
This card is beyond broken. It is on the level of Enraged Worgan + pre-nerf Charge + Inner Rage level of broken so you can't go 'but it is the luck of the draw' as so was that combo and Blizzard nerfed that one.
The "Play better decks" or "get better" arguments can be used counter nerfs that have already happened.
(sarcasm)
Pre-nerf Undertaker wasn't over powered, the players should have just gotten better or played better decks.
The Enraged Worgan + pre-nerf Charge + Inner Rage combo wasn't over powered, the players should have just gotten betteror played better decks. (/sarcasm)
You can see quickly just how silly the 'Play better decks' or 'the players should have just gotten better' counter arguments are. Any broken card can be justified via these.
More over there is the reason behind Power Overwhelming going to the Hall of Fame wand (and I quote):
"Power Overwhelming allows for extremely mana-efficient minion trades or high spikes of damage for only one mana. Keeping this card exclusive to Wild will prevent some crazy combinations and spike damage. "
So they move Power Overwhelming to Wild to "prevent some crazy combinations and spike damage" while giving Rogues a quest that allows them to do that very thing if they complete it. Worse they give Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental which makes the quest even easier to pull off.
The quest is built around "crazy combinations" and allows for "spike damage" out the wazoo.
I was depressed after this game. This dude got Vilefin Inquisitor and Vinecleaver from two Swashburglar.
Is that Savjz control paladin?
worst designed card by far and the fact that its not nerfed yet is so sad. I cant imagine 2 years with this card.
They've already said it's fine. Play better decks
I've found that this card is a bit too powerful. changing it to 5 or 6 creatures or weaken the enemies to 5/4 or 5/3. It's terrrifyingly on curve and super easy to make consistent, and is only beatable by one or two other decks. really sucks the fun out of it
