WARNING! Elemantals may have taunt.
Everyone keeps saying flamestrike and such, if he's alone on the field (him and the 2 wolves) and opponent uses flamestrike its still a 1-1 trade.
4 mana 7/7 or 7 mana 4/4? You choose.
Hah, didn't notice that. That's got to be deliberate.
Spirt Wolves is a 3 mana card (we'll call it 4 in value due to overload, although you technically pay 5 total).
This card is a 4/4 stats, which is also about 4 mana (one stat point off the ideal of 4/5). That's a combined mana value of around 8, and you're getting it for 7. That's at least a 1 mana discount, and depending on how you value Spirt Wolves it could be as much as a 2 mana discount.
Generally speaking cards that give you better value than you'd get from combining similar cards are very, very good. Hard to say exactly how easy it will be to satisfy the battlecry condition, but given it's shaman who already has a number of fantastic ways to do it even with only what we've seen so far, this seems like it will be a great card.
Strong followup after playing Fire Elemental last turn.
Looks like a pretty good aggro/midrange card.
this card is a 3 creatures in one card with 2 of them taunts, that fact by itself makes it very strong in shaman. Just refill your board with 1 card omg, then put flametongue or finish with bloodlust.
with bran it gives you almost full board with just 2 card combo on turn 10 (in WILD though)
Kinda vulnerable to flamestrike but other than that it looks like a new cancer.
If you protect strong attack minion with it (4 mana 7/7, or even fire elemental) or flametongue totem this may be very dufficult to deal with for some classes like druid, for example.

Is that you, red buff?
I see a lot of posts/people comparing this to Jade Chieftain, and while I think the comparison is apt I don't think it's as 1 sided as everyone is making it out to be.
This is 7 mana for a 4/4, compared to 7 mana for a 5/5 and a 1/1 taunt, so clearly it loses if you just slam them down on T7 without building up their mechanic. HOWEVER, This condition is a lot easier to fill (play a certain number of elementals) than the Chieftain's condition (ALL THE JADES!), and even then, Elementals can fit totally different archetypes than the Midrange Jades.
So while yes, Jade Chieftain is flat out better if you've curved out correctly and can get a 5/5 and a 8/8 Taunt, Stone Sentinel here doesn't require you to have built your deck around the mechanic and you only (theoretically) need 1 other elemental in your deck in order to get the benefit.
JC is a 5/5 and a 2/2 if you've played two Jade cards. This is a 4/4, 2/3, and 2/3 if you've played two Elemental cards.
Maybe jade decks are indeed hard for you If you still don't know that after 2 jade cards the third will be 3\3
I hope more people think this card is god like u so my jade cancer can win even easier.
