Well true... But Gahz'rilla shouldnt even be a beast, its closer to a dragon...
Isn't she the cutest bug have you ever seen? Those eyes, that lil' crown, that effect, that EVERYTHING. If I could I would definitely marry Huhuran. Yeah, even her being a giant wasp, love is blind, you know? Anyway, favorite card so far.
This seems good, but it's just kind of boring. I was really hoping for something that ignored Taunts, as she does in WoW.
I'm not a big fan of smorc either, trust me. I was just hoping for a somewhat interesting effect on the Hunter legend. This doesn't qualify for me.
Very good card though, for sure. And I'm happy to see more love for Midrange.
Anyone else thinking stating "immediately" in card text is not necessary?
Absolutely not. Deathrattle effects activate according to the order in which they are played, so this card bypasses that order. If you are familiar with The Stack in Magic the Gathering, this card probably makes a little more sense. It's definitely an interesting one.
I suggest looking up the concept of The Stack because the word "immediately" actually has a pretty huge impact. For instance if you have an Anubisath Sentinel, that deathrattle effect is not going to hit on Princess Huhuran because Princess Huhuran won't be considered on the battlefield at the time the effect is triggered.
Not really. It'll be auto include in every late-game midrange deck (along with call of the wild), and in any control hunters. But it's not a face hunter card, and with piloted shredder gone, there aren't any prime 4-drops, so you'll never get to have her full value on curve. Your best option is highmane turn 6 and princess turn 7, but that's still not nearly as powerful or reliable as Dr. Boom on turn 7 was.
looks like there is gonna be a N'Zoth the Corruptor hunter deck
*Forlorn Stalker*
There remain two problems with it. First, getting to turn 10 as a hunter and not just losing the game. They might be able to pull it off now, but their only defense is an offense. And what if they don't have it in their hand? There's only a ~50% chance. Late game leaves hunters topdecking. The second problem is that sludge belchers are leaving which leaves hunters without a taunt to pull out with N'Zoth, so while definitely powerful, it will have no immediate effect.
And then Forlorn Stalker and N'Zoth want different things in a deck. Forlorn Stalker wants as many deathrattles as possible (and creeper, shredder, webspinner, scientist, belcher are all leaving). N'Zoth wants a few choice deathrattles that it can reliably pull out. It's a bit like anyfin can happen, but it doesn't get charge.
I understand your logic here
if we weren't talking standard I'd say put sir finley in ur hunter deck
like, completely change the style of hunters and make a midrangey type of deck
so yes, in standard it probably won't work as well as you'd think without speculation
but in wild...
it's preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttty good!
oh and BTW I run an anyfin can happen deck and it gets like a 73% win rate, not bad basically
I try to not play it cuz when I get my combo, and very often I do get my combo, it ruins my social life cuz the opponent completely despises me, whether it be my bro or neighbour or whatever
the combo is: 2x Bluegill Warrior 2x Grimscale Oracle 2x Murloc Warleader 1x Old Murk-Eye
that's a total of 30 charge damage
ticks 'em of every time
so yea, this N'zoth hunter idea is nowhere near comparable to Anyfin Can Happen
Anubisath Sentinel interaction on empty board (no other friendly minions in play to get the buff)?
I like this combo with Savannah Highmane
The mana order is awkward for that combo and in half of the cases, highmane will be dead by turn 7, so it's not a consistant combo.
yes, I think these right
I like the combo with Zombie Chow
Deathrattle archetype should be playable with Hunter. At least it's what blizzard is trying to do. We'll see :)
