Blizzard has released the Medivh promotional video! Medivh is the new Mage hero coming to Hearthstone in an upcoming patch and will be purchasable for $9.99 USD. For more info on the new heroes, check out our June Game Update post.

Tavern Brawl - Non-Obtainable Cards in Premade Decks
It looks like premade decks used in certain Tavern Brawls could include cards which you can't normally obtain in-game. For more clarifications on the new gamemode, visit main Tavern Brawl announcement post.

Player Deck Slot Statistics
Ben Brode posted some interesting stats about deck slots over on reddit. This comes after his tweet which mentioned they were working towards more deck slots, but most players don't even have 9 slots filled.

- Players with 9 decks (among players who have been active in the last 30 days): 33%
- Players with 7-8 decks: 18%
- Players with 1-6 decks: 49%
DreamHack Hearthstone Grand Prix this Weekend
This weekend brings us the DreamHack Hearthstone Grand Prix, a 128-man Swiss tournament with a $40,000 prize pool and a total of 230 Hearthstone World Championship Points to be rewarded. The top 8 players from the swiss bracket will fight in a single elimination tournament to determine a champion.
The event will be cast by Frodan, Gnimsh and Lothar, and will be streamed on the DreamHackHS Twitch channel starting on June 13.

Posted Jun 12, 2015 (Blackrock Launch)Their logic at looking at how many deckslots people have filled now is kinda suspect - I don't know about you, but I usually leave 3 slots empty, "just in case". That doesn't mean if I had, say, 9 slots per class, I wouldn't have a helluva lot more decks! Mr. Brode, if you are listening, please keep this in mind - current behavior does not necessarily represent actual desire, when limitations are placed on said behavior...
