Level 12 at account or Hero?

Mate, people have been saying this for the past few months. There was a news post about Kripp and Noxious's separate videos about different reward ideas. The first comment on this thread was by me talking about this exact thing. You are by no means some martyr speaking up for the minority.

Also, giving away card packs as rewards for ranking high is a terrible idea. Ever heard of 'the rich get richer'? By giving away card packs, people with larger collections can rank higher, and get more cards, helping them to rank higher. Meanwhile, people with limited collections are stuck getting beaten back by these constant winners. Cosmetic rewards or achievements collectible at any rank are a much better way to go.

how long does it take to reach rank 12 in heroes of the storm?

its level not rank. Profile/summoner level. my guess it's about 10 games played. less if you win more, more if you lose more. Either way, you can play cooperative if you dont wanna tryhard and just take it easy over a few weeks. You'll make it

well, level 14 isnt that far in. and the open beta will start. soo its free. I guess you can be level 14 with about 10 games played. who knows, you might even like the game and stick with it. 

I see your point though, but in all fairness did you expect anything else? as soon as the fireside cardback came out it was obvious there were going to be more event related cardbacks and little people will be able to get them all.

You can get Fireside CB with program(i dont remember name sry). Just need 2 more ppl for that. Thats how my brother and me got it :)

Gah. I really like this card back, and I do have Heroes, so I can get it, but... I still feel like we need to get some new rewards already. Card backs are becoming so... uninteresting.

There are so many cool ideas floating around. I just hope we get something cosmetic soon (preferably that we don't have to pay for).

yeah I agree. Card backs are cool but a bit meh...

This echoes my concern with Heroic mode completion as well.

I never even bothered TRYING Heroic mode because it just feels so... pointless. I mean, all that blood, sweat and tears for a card back? Not even REMOTELY worth the effort, especially as I wouldn't even use it over the Maraad card back from season 10 because I simply like that design more. The Heroic Naxxramas and Nefarian card backs you get for beating the adventures in Heroic mode are ugly anyway.

I've always thought that not giving you golden versions of the reward cards for completing Heroic was just dumb. That MIGHT be an incentive, even if it is just another vanity reward (and not everyone is even interested in vanity rewards).

I disagree, the heroic card backs are pretty neat i think. 
And well, if you pay money for that adventure and you only choose to play 50%, that's your loss! :D

I really enjoyed building decks around the gimmicky boss mechanics, really had some fun. ALso took me quite some time!
