Single Player Content Announcement Coming May 9th
Dave Kosak has spread word on reddit that we'll be seeing information on the upcoming adventure May 9th.
Quote from Dave KosakGlad to hear you're interested in the new single player campaign! We wanted to give everyone a few weeks after the expansion before talking about it more, but stick around, here's the plan:
Next week on Thursday May 9th we'll post a video where Mission Designer Giovanni Scarpati will walk you through all the stuff to come. We'll also be announcing the launch date (don't worry - it's soon!). There's a LOT to talk about, we're pretty fired up about it. Stay tuned for more!
I don't really care when its coming up. I just want them to take their time and make a mode that is fun and has replay value , like Dungeon Run. If it its going to end like other solo content that were only once played, I would rather not get it.
Flux won the internet with the miniature for this post. That's how we all feel.
Imagine streching content for community instead of making a new one...
Yay! New adventure coming on may 9th!
Reads more carefully... ANNOUNCEMENT is coming on May 9th...
Your Avatar plus the jpeg you posted is perfect... LOL!
I agree. I didn't pre-order the last couple of sets because I haven't been super-into HS lately, and now I'll have a hole in my card back collection... forever!
Maybe they'll introduce a way to craft/earn missing card backs at some point? Even if they make them an absurdly high 3200 dust (on par with a golden Legend), it'd open the option for people who really, really want missing card backs. Or different costs, depending on how it was originally obtained?
We've heard you like announcements so we put announcement in the announcement so you can announcement while announcement!
Announcements of an announcement of an announcement of an announcement...
Finally! The announcement of the announcement!
Its not really a problem , theres a few months before the next expansion so theres all that time in the middle. Keeping things new (with singleplayer stuff) will help break up the meta when it gets more stale closer to the next expansion.
Stretching the content to the max. They release it around May 15th-20th, people are happy for 2 weeks. People bitch again - oh look we are nerfing some cards, mostly base set and moving them to hall of fame. People are happy again for 2 weeks. People bitch again - oh look announcement of announcement for next expansion - people are happy again.
Predictable.

What is the problem with stretching content?
In WoW its stretched way too far, but in HS its fine I think. SP mode one month after expansion is good imo.
The 3 month of nothing afterwards is the problem :)
Well, the first (and only) time they released the solo content at the same time as the expansion, the servers crashed under load, so spreading it out helps alleviate the stress on the server.
But really, most likely the reason why it is separate is because it gave development an extra month to iron out the bugs. As a developer, crunch time sucks and if you have TWO deadlines (solo content + regular expansion) , you're spreading yourself thin. Best to get one release fleshed out, and then spend the next month getting the second feature, instead of trying to do it all at once. It never works out well.

The completionist in me hopes that you don’t get a card back if you buy the wings with real money, then I’m free to spend gold.
May 9??? then maybe, just maybe we will see the return of Day 9 :D
Holy complaints! Stop with the whining. Go play something else then.
