Quote from Jesse HillGreetings!
One of the greatest joys in Hearthstone is watching players adapt and grow throughout the course of a competitive season. We’re always surprised and inspired by the inventive deck ideas that spring up on the ladder in the face of stiff competition.
Today, we wanted to showcase a few of the awesome, creative decks that have been successfully climbing through the rank of Legend.
To find these decks, we scoured the rankings for players that did well last week, and picked out some interesting builds from amongst these top performers. We only selected decks that were played in 50 or more games at Legend level.
First up we have Stancifka, running a very creative Quest Mage deck.
Stancifka's deck went through many iterations; however, this version (with an impressive 73% win rate!) seemed to serve him best.

Next up is a deck that created a lot of buzz around the release of Kobolds and Catacombs: Minionless Hunter. On the China server, 小青藤 piloted this deck to a 65% win rate.

Lastly, we have a unique take on the idea of Shaman evolution.
Jambre's Arcane Giants/Unstable Evolution deck went through 15 different revisions during its run, but he achieved a 68% win rate with this version.

Each of these players showed great skill and put up impressive numbers with some awesome deck choices. Congrats to each of these players!
What are some of the craziest decks you’ve seen or played on the ladder lately? Let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or in the comments below!
Good luck on your climbs everyone!
Nice decks!
Beautiful Shaman deck, didn't know *Far Sight* was viable for ladder!
Warrior Class still cry...
But are you still in charge?
Dude, i'm watch twitch all day and no one play warrior class (except Dungeon Run). I'm F2P player and i'm only have warrior class cards.
FeelsBadMan
Stancifka is da man..
I am seriously pondering crafting Frost Lich Jaina and try out StanCifka's deck (among other things), considering that I am a Mage enthousiast
If you are indeed a Mage enthusiast you should definitely craft Jaina. She's a staple in control and just generally a fun card.
Thing is, I dont really want to craft Meteor and Dragon's Fury as well, because that is an extra investment of 1.6k. Maybe in April I see what's up (Mage loses few cards to wild so it might become a dominating class)
I think that both of them are decent crafts, and both do not rotate out on April. If you really like mage you should spend your dust accordingly. Epics are not that costly and if you have no other legendaries you need to craft I'd go for it if you really want to play some specific deck. Cifka's deck doesn't run those at all, and you can also just replace them with other similar cards like flamestrike etc.
Stancifka's decklist on top...
I was SURELY not expecting this. It's the first time you've ever promoted this player. Such a diversity, good job hearthpwn.
Been facing quite a few spell hunters at low ranks.
Not complaining, just asking. What defines current meta if a common deck like this one isn't part of it?
Is the definition of the word meta 'the very core', top 3 played decks?
I hear this word a lot, i just want to know how much it weighs.
Who wants to bet that we will all still see complaints that "the only viable decks" are meta decks? It seems to me that whenever another player proves that they can not only get to legend, but get to high legend (top 100 or better) with an off-meta deck there seems to be 50 players to 1 that think it still isn't possible.
Ok Blizzard, give me 13k dust and I promise to craft and try all the 3 decks above! ^^
This is a cool way to introduce new decks to players, but I am disappointed they do not add an asterisk. These are likely high level pro players experimenting at legend. The average rank 10 or 15, or even 5 player will not be able to simply load these up and take them to legend. It requires playing strong netdecks over usually 100's of games to reach legend. Once there, it eases considerably, since players experiment with new decks and the atmosphere is more relaxed.
Reading is hard, I know, but you missed this I guess:
"To find these decks, we scoured the rankings for players that did well last week, and picked out some interesting builds from amongst these top performers. We only selected decks that were played in 50 or more games at Legend level."
Okay, he was saying that those decks likely were only used, or mainly used at Legend already. Putting the fact that they were played at Legend for 50 or more games in bold is just repeating what he said.
Reading is hard, I know.
