Vote foe Kolento
Omg, this really says something about the meta:
1. Patches everywhere.
2. Creeper everywhere.
3. 14 Razakus Priest decks.
4. 2 Mages, 1 Hunter and 1 Paladin deck.
5. No Warrior and no Shaman.
:O
Funny comment, but it says more about tournament meta, than the actual ladder meta. The ability to ban 1 deck changes quite a lot of things, for example there's only 1 deck of the absolute best archetype (murlock/aggro paladin).
True true. I do know that tournaments (and for that instance - tournament decks) work differently, but it does show the prevalence of Creeper/Pirate Package determined meta with Razakus, that we normally see on the ladder. The main point was that Hunter is in a bad spot, Shaman is in an even worse spot, and Warrior doesn't even have a spot anymore.
Previous HCT tournaments were also pumped with the strongest decks (remember HCT 2016 with only Control Warrior, Tempo Mage, Midrange Shaman, Miracle Rogue and Malygos Druid, with an occasional Secret Hunter?), but ladder meta had more variety. And the best part is that it's partially coming from having two classes beaten into the ground. We have more Tier 1 decks than HS usually had in the past, with practically one, pure aggro deck (which allowed for a tempo/semi-control tournament deck lists). In the past, when HCT was up, we had like 1-2 Tier 1 (or Tier S, as some say) decks, so it allowed a more diverse deckbuilding, since you'd usually ban that one uber deck.
I really like Warrior, but since Pirate Warrior and Blizzard's inability to balance that deck without deleting the class, it's unplayable :(
best aggro archetype... control (not cubelock) warlock is pretty favorite against it... even tempo rogue is better...
Count your Paladin again.
I have a feeling it will be very hard for players with cubelock to win. Cubelock will have a hard time against control lock and aggro.
I've faced every class on the ladder. I've even played shaman a bit. I don't think that every class is non existent in the ladder, just the tournament. And that's not anything out of the ordinary. You're over glorifying your post just a bit.
But I do hate Raza Priest and can't wait for it's demise.
0 warrior decks, 0 shaman decks, almost all players choose the same 4 classes Rogue, Druid, priest, warlock (10/16 of the players).
Everyone except Ant brought warlock.
Everyone brought Priest.
Everyone except Orange brought Druid.
Least deck/class variety I ever seen.
There was a time Handlock, Midrange-Druid (aka "FoN-Combo-Druid") and Patron-Warrior was the holy trinity of the tournament meta. This current tournament meta is diverse compared to the "old trinity". :D
I am so disapointed about this...
But hey, Shaman is dead, remember when he was nightmare ?
But hey, priest is alive! Remember when it was nightmarish bad and absent on every tournament?
He dead AGAIN. This class was unplayable before tgt release.
Ah, there's a lot of good players out there, but Kolento has always been a safe pick, so I went with him...
Go ShtanUdachi or Kolento!
Wait. Pavel's not here? WHO DO I VOTE FOR?!
Orange was probably the better choice, but I threw my lot in with Muzzy. Don't let me down!
