Stream
There are two streams for the event. The main stream is
TaKeTV
on Twitch and the secondary is
TaKeTV_HS on Twitch
. Both have been embedded below for ease of access.
We are 1.5 weeks into the expansion and if that tourney was any indication of the next three months of meta we are going to have, then no thank you.
A tournament ( special where they can ban a class) is never a indication for the meta, but it gave a general idea of the powerlevel from specific classes( like Warloc).
Very sad to see that Silvername is not in the pool :(
Can't wait to see all the memes J4ckiech4n is bringing!
Go Alliestrasza!!! Most beautiful girl in Hearthstown!
Ahem, this is the most beautiful girl in Hearthstone...

Corridor Creeper festival incoming?
Nothing personal against Ek0p but I just don't understand why he is attending every time, simply not bringing any additional value to E-sports scene in my opinion...
because he is german and knows Dennis alias Take.. as native german I don't like Ek0p too.. he is a bad player and is character is cringe²²
Well, I don't know him enough to say if he's a bad player, but from the house he got raffled into it seems pretty certain he'll not qualify...
He’s definitely not a bad player. No one in the pro scene would say so . I personally don’t like his attitude after he won ( I belive a cup almost a year ago ) . And they asked him about his preparation,he’s said I just took old decks and put Yogg in and yolod his way to victory. ( I remember Frodan criticizing him for his behavior)
You have a difficult group StanCifka, but I trust you. Crush em!
Stan will win for sure I think he is going to bring crazy decks
Always the same people doing tournaments. Almost 0 new faces.
There are relatively many people here that usually haven't been invited to SSC. But yes, invitational tournaments tend to invite the 'big names' and I don't see anything wrong about that since those are the players most people want to see. This isn't a tournament organized by Blizzard so they do have to care more about the amount of potential viewers.
there are a finite number of pros, and I think the biggest problem in hearthstone is the opposie of this, the biggest names like Kolento, Dog, Amnesiac, Muzzy, etc. arent at nearly enough events. It makes it seem like pros can;t survive in the scene.
They probably can't with the abysmal payouts for winning and qualifying with HCT Points. The new HCT Season requirements are top 25 for 3 months straight, who can survive doing that without going insane, much less be that consistent? Plus then grinding all the HCT Tour and flying around, by the time you actually win anything you're at a net loss of money and are only doing it for the fame / trophy most likely. That's nice for people who have a shit ton of disposable income or parents who fund all of this....but not for anyone who is an adult.
Most pros are funded by teams and streams. They get a salary for trying and spending all that time. Flying abroad is just like every other job that flied you abroad, with the added benefit of more site-seeing time.
Being Top25 for three seasons straight is a full time job, and people know that, and that's why teams and twitch exist.
Are the deck lists public?
