The priest legendary amulet has to do with this. I see a dragon priest meta rising
Nerf to Firelands Portal. *Kappa*
the missing tools in elemental mage deck come in place one by one. One of the most important thing in a elemental heavy deck is to keep the elemental train going. At some point though you have to blizzard or flamestrike the board and then it becomes awkward cause u dont have the elemental train going for next round. With this card its not the case anymore. Blizzard + 0 cost elemental on turn 6. Turn 7 blazecaller and so goes on. Whoever tried elemental mage know exactly what iam talking about. Board clear + presence at same turn + the potential of next turn powerful elemental play is kinda the wet dream of elemental mage
Nice card to pair with Brawl if Warrior ever finds its way back onto ladder.
Coin keleseth into shadowstep says what's that? These slow cards are nice but how will they beat the current brokeback shit? That's the question
They just play shadowreaper anduin and spend a few turns pinging you down because you overextended.
Elemental Mage will be insane next expansion. I will have to craft the Mage DK and Baron Geddon...
I would wait around 2 weeks after expansion for the meta to settle
Priest with raza turn 5: Greetings
Druid turn 5 Ultimate Infestation draws two Arcane Tyrant for 0 mana: My thanks to you
Just an obvious ramp druid card for me. Somewhat counteracts the tempo loss and overdraw on things like Nourish or Ultimate Infestation. (Spreading Plague? Eh, why not.)
4 atk stat always relevant in my book for priests.
I doubt it'll be any good though. Surely there will be better cards to add then this.
I was about the point out the same benefits for druid, but I have to disagree on that last bit.
Nourish gaining a 4/4 body is downright OP. If you draw, how's a 5-mana 4/4, "Battlecry: Draw 3 cards" sound? I'd take that over Azure Drake any day. And if you ramp, that's a 3-mana 4/4, gain 2 mana, and then your next turn is likely going to put you ahead of your opponent, instead of possibly losing you the match because you spent 5 mana and only got a Hero Power or a Wrath out of it, or you spent 5 mana to do nothing. Making a comeback after ramping that much isn't uncommon, but sometimes your opponent accomplishes too much in the first few turns and you can't recover. Arcane Tyrant is easily one of my favorite cards, as a heavy Jade druid player. (feel free to hate :P )
And then for Ultimate Infestation, which is sometimes hard to cast if you can't dump enough of your hand, this makes that significantly easier. Now you just have to get down to 6 cards, instead of 5. That may not sound like a big deal, but I promise you it is. Casting UI and accepting that you're gonna go up to 10 cards and burn your next draw is a pretty regular play. It's worth it; it's just kind of annoying. I've even found myself wondering if UI would be even stronger if it only drew 4 cards, because of those turns where it's difficult to make enough room in your hand. But this card is the solution to that awkwardness, and it's a 4/4 body to accompany your 5/5. That's a 10-mana 9/9, draw 5, gain 5, deal 5... It's just plain silly.
He may only be a 4/4... but he's 5/5 in my heart. (...stars.)
"Nourish gaining a 4/4 body is downright OP. If you draw, how's a 5-mana 4/4, "Battlecry: Draw 3 cards" sound?"
Don't forget that Tyrant is a card itself, so it's more like Nourish + 4/4 body + disard a card, and it doesn't work all of times you don't have both in your hand.
Still absurdly strong with Ulitmate Infestation.
I did consider that, but as much as druid cycles, it'll be pretty reliable. I wish I could put 3 or 4 in my deck. lol
Grand Archivist: Play a minion, get a free spell.
Arcane Tyrant: Play a spell, get a free minion.
Pretty good in Elemental Mage, Druid, Warlock and Elemental Priest, I think. In Druid it lets you play another card after UI, in the other three you get to play a decent minion along with your board clear.
This card isnt as good as you think in warlock. you dont need 10 and 8 cost spells to make this card work, you need 5 cost spells. And at the point in the game a 0 4 4 isnt gona change much while youre playing control warlock. Besides that happy ghoul doesnt see play in control warlock and it goes off as early as turns 2-3 , so yeah thats a thing
It says spells that cost 5 or more, so 8 and 10 mana spells would work as well.
You arent getting my point, waiting for turn 8 to play a free 4 4 is strictly worse than doing it on turn 3 or 4 as a deck that needs early game ( cough druid cough).
This is insane in ramp druid. You get a 0 4 4 with ui and or you can nourish ramp and drop a 4 4 to not lose tempo.
Every one is seeing this in mage... I think this belongs to druids (with their big draws spells you can get this and play it for free)
