Pretty good for decks that don't have many minions to play at midgame, kinda like exodia mage or control warrior or something
EZ ARENA WINZ
the best cards are affordable you mean like kazakus raza anduin elise lyra????
i think this card will be a decent arena card as hyldnir frostrider (3 mana 4/4 battlecry: freeze all ure minons). 3 mana 2/4 divine shield taunt may be as good as hyldnir or may be better in some cases . however, in Ranked i will always play tarcreeper over this
First Second-Rate Bruiser then Tar Creeper and now this, FeelsGoodMan
Premium Arena card. Not much else tho
Disagree, I think this could be amazing anti agro in Control Paladin, who doesn't have any early game minions except for Doomsayer and "Ureka".
Definetly an interesting concept. Is it worth to trade 1/1 (Tar Creeper) in stats for Divine Shield? Against mages/priests is worse but against other classes it's arguably better than Tar Creeper. It doesn't have downside on your turn so it's slightly better for pushing damage.
This is definitely a strict Mage/Priest card, maybe Dead Man's Warrior, as all of those aren't trying to swarm you with minions off the bat and need annoyances like this to distract you while they ramp. Doesn't really help any classes that could use it though.
hmmm put (a little) faith in the light???
Some uses in early Priest, Mage, Buffadin (especially after a board wipe), but competitors are Tar Creeper, Stonehill and that 4/5 taunt that falls to a 3-cost if your opponent gets minions up.
As stated, it's good to have in hand after a board wipe or crummy opening hand, but after that ...
BTW, if evolve shaman uses devolve on it, there's a good chance for a free THE END IS COMING to save you and ruin their early game.
Not as good as Tar Creeper. Tar Creeper is way better even if you get a divine shield on this card.
If it was 5 health maybe the restriction could be worth it. Second-Rate Bruiser is basically 3 mana 4/5 to some extent
Not really. With divine shield it is a lot stickier and can actually impact a game significantly in the late game unlike tar creeper. Thats not to say that it will see as much play as a tar creeper, but definitely dont underestimate this guy.
mmmm, powerful card, but it has a direct competitor, tar creeper, we'll have to see which one is better
Why not both? yay!
Solid control card if you ask me, cause minions usually doesn't appear for control decks at the 1st two turns
decent arena card. That taunt plus divine shield value on turn 3.
RIP Squirming Tentacle in arena. which was a decent early game taunt card especially since 2 drops usually just do trading.
Might not be strong enough for constructed though. But that one hit immunity is good.
Probably will be the best card in the new expansion.
Oooooooh! This card is pretty good!
