Are we Getting Another Exclusive Golden Legendary? BlizzCon 2017 Digital Goodies
Blizzard has unveiled all the BlizzCon goodies today, but Hearthstone's is a secret which will be available sometime after BlizzCon.
This is just like the 2013 BlizzCon announcement which showcased the legendary "Mystery Minion" which was later unveiled to be Elite Tauren Chieftain. It looks like we're not getting another card back this year, but maybe that's okay.
We're going to see the next Hearthstone expansion announced at this year's BlizzCon, so maybe this Golden Legendary is going to tie into that if it isn't an exclusive craft like Elite Tauren Chieftain's golden version.
You can obtain the BlizzCon 2017 Digital Goodies by buying a Virtual Ticket for $40 or if you're holding a physical BlizzCon ticket, which have been sold out for some time.
Other Goodies
Blizzard's other titles are also getting in-game goodies, most of which are available today.
- World of Warcraft: Stormwind Skychaser and Orgrimmar Interceptor
- Overwatch: BlizzCon 2017 Winston Skin
- StarCraft II: Junker SCV, Probe, and Drone Skins
- Heroes of the Storm: Nexus Razorback Mount…and More!
- Diablo III: Murkromancer Pet
The way I see it is this: It's PROBABLY going to be a legendary that can only be crafted in golden if you have the virtual ticket, but could craft regular if you want.
For those who get mad about this stuff (like the card backs from twitch prime, or Blizzcon) I offer this: It's just cosmetic!
I personally got the virtual ticket because I actually enjoy watching the conference. I figure they'll announce the next expansion, and I care about Overwatch announcements too. I had the virtual ticket a couple of years ago and it was very entertaining.
If I didn't care about actually watching it, I wouldn't spend the $40 just for a card, or an overwatch skin. Although I wish I would have last year because the Bastian skin from last year is great.
Hearthstone: The F2P* Card Game
* Some charges may apply. F2P does not refer to 4 yearly Expansions, Monthly Twitch Prime for Premium Card Backs, Yearly fee for Golden Legendary from Blizzcon, Additional Charges for Heroes Skins etc.
I'm F2P for 2 years, only spent $30 on starter pack that gave my second Tirion and 2 epics from 10 packs.
But i'm happy with my Control Paladin, Control Mage, Control Warlock, only missing Kazakus for Raza Priest, Secret Mage that I still can't win with, Dragon Priest, Handbuff Paladin and Zoo Warlock.
They said its a secret and that they might be moving ice block to hall of fame...
I found it, to replace ice block in standard...
From the experience I have with blizzard I know the legendary either wont be THAT good or available in some other way than just buying a blizzcon ticket. Their motto is usually that they dont wanna make the F2P players feel like they're missing out on something so they pick either option above. Thats my conclution!
The suspense is killing me!
The Virtual Ticket rule feat. Murphy's Law:
Have fun and combine them!
whats up dude . im new here how can i make a card like you just did .please let me know cuz i have interesting thoughts
thank you
Tbh they should make the best upcoming legendary craftable and have the golden version as an exclusive bonus for blizzcon ticket buyers, that way ftp can craft their next best leg and paying customers can have something sweet and exclusive.
and what of people that can't make it to blizzcon to validate the ticket, can just sulk in corner???
They can get the regular version from packs or dust..
the likeliest rumor is it will be a free legendary for everyone, ala old gods, and then VT buyers will get an exclusive golden edition.
if that turns out to be true, well done Blizzard, well done, I like that model.
Golden Nat Pagle! YES!
if it's like the previous, you can craft the non golden version
I want to think that, since they will reveal the gift after the Blizzcon and knowing they usually release new stuff on early December, this will be a legendary from the next expansion. Similar to the Un'goro packs and Volcanosaur we received before its release.
