Are we Getting Another Exclusive Golden Legendary? BlizzCon 2017 Digital Goodies
Blizzard has unveiled all the BlizzCon goodies today, but Hearthstone's is a secret which will be available sometime after BlizzCon.
This is just like the 2013 BlizzCon announcement which showcased the legendary "Mystery Minion" which was later unveiled to be Elite Tauren Chieftain. It looks like we're not getting another card back this year, but maybe that's okay.
We're going to see the next Hearthstone expansion announced at this year's BlizzCon, so maybe this Golden Legendary is going to tie into that if it isn't an exclusive craft like Elite Tauren Chieftain's golden version.
You can obtain the BlizzCon 2017 Digital Goodies by buying a Virtual Ticket for $40 or if you're holding a physical BlizzCon ticket, which have been sold out for some time.
Other Goodies
Blizzard's other titles are also getting in-game goodies, most of which are available today.
- World of Warcraft: Stormwind Skychaser and Orgrimmar Interceptor
- Overwatch: BlizzCon 2017 Winston Skin
- StarCraft II: Junker SCV, Probe, and Drone Skins
- Heroes of the Storm: Nexus Razorback Mount…and More!
- Diablo III: Murkromancer Pet
I'm not aware of some of the specifics of what happened after, so good to know. I took a break after Naxx was launched. We'd agree that there's an RNG element to both Cards though?
Anyone know which is the last date that Virtual ticket can be bought ?
In the past you could buy it up to and even during Blizz Con.
Between yesterday and today we have a little sumarry, you better pay to get nice content, or prepare yourself to cross around the world to get something (Nezmy)
So, why in earth would I want to spend $40 for a Golden Legendary I wouldn't even use?
Its called collecting. And you are not spending in on the card but on Virtual Ticket. Trust most, its worth it, if you have the time to watch.
Another E.T.C. and Gelbin to the collection.
What you want? ALL for free?
The items you are talking about are not mandatory to enjoy the game or to be competitive.
I'll just craft the normal version, you'll probably able to do that. 40$ for a single card is a no way in hell for me.
It's more like $40 for the ticket and you get the goodies isn't it?
I mean sure, if all you want is the Golden Legendary then 40 bucks is a lot of money and you could consider it to be 40 bucks for a single card as that would be all you would be getting.
If I were to take a guess, I'm going to guess that it'll be a Legendary from the new expansion announced at BlizzCon. In that case, I think the normal version will be normally obtainable by players but the Golden version will only be obtainable by BlizzCon, kinda like ETC and Gelbin. I doubt Team 5 would make a card that is only accessible by one obscure method.
Isn't it a shame they don't do the same with heroes?
Or, you can spend 40 dollars on card packs and open 2 or 3 legendaries you'll actually use.
The rich gonna get richer I guess .
Nah it's most likely just an unplayable fun rng card. Hopefully.
I take pity on you if 40$ makes someone rich. It is really, really sad I hope things start looking up for you :) <3
Coming from a stupidly poor country, no, it isn't. It isn't a monthly paycheck. Maybe daily, but not monthly.
So he is complaining about company doing what a company is supposed to do...making money. I don't know what is worse.
"stupidly poor country" 40$ "It isn't a monthly paycheck. Maybe daily"
"stupidly poor country" @ Over 1k$ \mo salary. You don't know wtf you're talking about little brat.
Eastern europe (Ukraine, Moldova etc. pseudo-countries) 400$\mo salary is considered big luck, ~150-200$ of which will be spent on bills for the housing, NOT including food, good luck spending 40$ on cards there, you little shit.
