Decks Class Breakdown
Decks Archetype Breakdown
- 7 of the Jade Druid decks have teched in Eater of Secrets.
- 3 Jade Druids brought Dirty Rat into the mix.
- Monsanto has brought a relatively odd line-up with 3 different quest-based decks (Yes, Barnabus Druid is one of them) and Silence Priest.
- We're seeing a lot more Quest Mage compared to other recent events. Meta change is fun!
- All classes are represented at the event, with more than 1 deck!

out of 38 druid
37 of them has fandral and DK
all of them has infes
and almost everytime druid is banned …… can't wait for the nerf
Added 4 more players to the post who made it to the top 8.
PNC is playing big priest, not highlander. Go Argentina army!
If you take out Jade Druid, Highlander Priest and Pirate, most of the deck seems interesting to watch in action.
and, Let's go Monsanto, the savior!
why the hell paladin is yellow? it's rogues color, paladin is pink
IKR, warrior wearing DK's colours is my pet peeve of this site.
Can't wait to see Fibonacci's N'zoth Warrior in action. I like his control decks, so this will be interesting. Also, go Monsanto!
Weird thing is it doesn't have Fiery War Axe in it. Is he practicing for the post-nerf meta? :)
So many people that don't understand Tournaments =/= Ladder Meta.
He is the god, the legend, the man, MONSANTO, the hero, bravest man alive.
Looking at that graph I'm surprised priest didn't get a nerf too. All of the other super strong decks did. Even now it doesn't really have any major weaknesses and the nerfs are just going to make it stronger. Guess Blizzard is giving priest its turn to be on top, which is honestly a seriously flawed way to "balance".
I am completely stunned by the fact that the only Rogues are Quest Rogues!
And also a bit concerned actually...
I find that interesting though not surprising that Miracle had no place in the tournament. In the ladder (which is a different environment) Miracle has lost favor because the Druid matchup is worse now that Druids are more frequently running silence and removal minions such as Spellbreaker and Big Game Hunter which can answer Miracle's win conditions of tempo big minions.
Looking at the Quest Rogue list and comparing it to the HTC build, all five pro players cut Backstab (x2), which is not good versus big minions seen in Druid and Priest these days, and Swashburglar (x2), which fills your hand with random cards and pulls Patches early. Instead, they are running Stonetusk Boar (x2) for Vanish and Quest synergy and Coldlight Oracle (x1) for card draw, with the final card being either Valeera the Hollow, a single Doomsayer, or a second Coldlight Oracle.
I almost brought a line up that brought Elemental rogue. Just my preliminary scouting had me thinking there would be a lot more pirate warrior and less quest mage/rogue than there ended up being. Meh good thing I am competing at a bar time to drink.
Why there is no Peru flag for me? :( i feel bad pepoS i'm izzy btw
Oh good, I've been having trouble making quest druid work in standard. This is going to be one of the few times I'll netdeck
Problem of current meta decks: they sure can use combo for maximum efficiency, but just playing cards on curve is enough to win.
While there are many interesting combo possibilities around, just playing a deck that has good tempo with any kind of draw is best option.
The only semi-control deck we have now is Priest. And this deck again like control warrior still depends on drawing key cards in correct order to win. No other options to keep up with enemy's tempo, then just using your overbuffed hero power each turn, then also after playing every card.
Had enough of this boredom.
Blizzard can't just design smart versatile control deck, like they are saying: need smart play so much - go play chess. Here, we play on curve.
