The way this is worded can only be interpreted one way. Where else would it copy it to?
Dude wut
you are only further proving he's right
But it doesn't clarify to where this minion goes to. A lot of people already think the minion copied will be directly put into battlefield.
The clearly wanted to avoid saying "hand" twice.
It's this way because the phrase "in your hand to your hand" is a specter of clunkiness incarnate. As is, the effect makes complete sense. "Copy the lowest cost card from your hand." Okay - it becomes a copy of the lowest cost card in your hand. Lovely. There's no reason to assume that the copy would be moved into play, because that isn't stated.
Lol its like they're buffing exodia mage intentionally. They say that they ahve designed a card to counter jades but they're just buffing something that is even worst than that and/or freeze mage.
Team 5 has done a very good job on Mage making sure they don't give them anymore ridiculous Arena cards, hopefully the Frozen meta ends up being much more diverse and balanced.
What if you have two 2 cost minions in your hand and they are both the lowest cost minion, does this copy them all? If yes, you have two additional cards in your hand? which is pretty insane.
This card is interesting. I don't think its that strong though.
I see this as an "I only have Deathwing/etc. in my hand, tee hee gonna copy it" move. Although if the minion in question costs four, you could play them both immediately on turn 10 which is cool. Water Elemental anyone? :D
If only they were releasing a card that went with Water Elemental, that you could play on turn 9...
You can't ever do that with Deathwing, since the second one would get discarded after you played the first. Atleast make quality examples man.
I just picked a high-cost Legendary that I could readily spell. Although, it could be the other Deathwing *shrugs*
lmao just realized how much of a dumbass I am: it costs three mana, not two. #MathFail
MORE EXODIA BOIZ
Interesting card. Even if you copy a card belown the 3 cost, it could be useful in the right situation (Hello Sorcerer's Apprentice!). I really like this type of card that need to think carefully before using
"In your hand" refers to where you copy it from, not where it will be put afterward.
You are confusing the difference between "to your hand" and "in your hand".
This can really only mean that it copies minions that are in your hand.
it is actually pretty clear that it will copy a minion in your hand. if anything the confusing part is where it will copy it to, the board or your hand. but of course it is easy to tell that it copies it to your hand other wise it will be pretty broken with 3 mana malygoses.
i would understand your confusion if it said "copy the lowest cost minion to your hand" as that would be confusing if it would copy the minion from the board or your hand and will definitely mean it will put the minion in your hand.
Honestly, this is the type of card I'm playing Hearthstone for. So much of combo potential, too bad its Mage card tho, since it already has 4 mana copy your minion spell. I would prefer to see it in Warlock or something.
