He !?
Its just Thoughtsteal +2 Mana / +1 Card
WTF
No pack fillers (c) Ben
okay
Why would people play cards like these? If I want to play other classes cards, I will play another class instead of Priest.
Blizzard really missed out the opportunity to bring back shadow Priest. It's a big, big shame on them.
I really can't understand how this card works..I want someone to explain me please..But stead and slowly..
It's a thoughtsteal that gives you one more card for 2 more mana.
Well if thoughtsteal is 2 cards, 1 card for 1.5 mana, and one more card is 2 mana. It's ehhh.
That's not how it works. Its 3 mana to add 1 more card to your hand or 5 mana to add 2 more cards to your hand.
Bleh, Druid has 5 mana draw 3 cards OR gain 2 mana crystals. Not to mention they can ramp into it, much unlike priest.
Well, every class has their strength, and ramp/acceleration has always been Druid's. It'd be a bit unfair to expect other class acceleration cards to be equally good.
I think running this alongside 1 Thoughtsteal is not that bad for late game
Am I the only one bothered by the preposition in? It's true that Thoughtsteal uses the same, but I think that from fits more:
No, you are not the only one.
from would be the wording if it copied from their original 30 card list.
Why? No, the only card with such an interaction is Curious Glimmerroot and there is the start[ed] keyword there.
in bc if the game gets to fatigue for example, this will copy nothing. Only the cards in the lefting deck.
trying to wonder why I would play devour mind over Thoughtsteal ?
2 possibilities:
TL,DR: it's the sempiternal "tempo vs value" discussion.
(imho, Shadow Visions into Thoughtsteal / Un'Goro Pack should suffice value-wise)
Option 3. After considering Option 2, you say "fuck it, I'm rank 10 anyway and I can't fall any lower" and you make the greediest priest deck the world has ever seen with Archbishop Benedictus.
Blizzard does not print cards solely so that people will play them. They also have to print cards to nerf the RNG effect of other cards. Devour Mind and the 6 cost Mind Control are designed to be valuable spells you would like to draw, but they're expensive so that you can't just chain them off Lyra the Sunshard. Basically, high cost, good priest spells to keep priest from going Miracle as often.
