No, N'zoth only rezzes cards that naturally have Deathrattles.
Not 5/3 ? Come on Blizzard :(
We are all Ancestral Spirit now.
actually how would dreadsteed interact with this i wonder? i suppose it'd just make 2 dreadsteeds
Yeah it would summon 2
You would get one right away and then another at the end of turn since they are changing the card text of dreadsteed to be Deathrattle: Summon a dreadsteed at the end of turn
This is basically a 3 mana 3/3 with Ancestral Spirit in one. Considering 2 cards combined into one is usually better, I'd argue that unless you need Ancestral Spirit for a combo (so mana cost is important), Corpse Raiser is a better card than Ancestral Spirit. A 3/3 for 3 mana isn't great, but having two effects in one card outweighs that fact.
Hey, it's the very first vrykul in Hearthstone! Too bad he's dead.
Also Injured Kvaldir, Sea Reaver and The Mistcaller
It's the first FROST vrykul in HS and they're all undead.
Okay, good to know! I thought the kvaldir were something else entirely! Thanks!
They're vrykul spirits? Maybe someday Blizzard will release a vrykul who's alive!
You're right, re-summoning cards like Tirion, or... ya know... any decent-sized minion just doesn't seem valuable at all.
I mean, it'll be great to resummon Tirion with this. If Tirion lives. It'll be great to resummon a decent-sized minion. If your opponent doesn't clear it.
Clearly, this is garbage on an empty board. There's a term for cards which are garbage when behind, but great when you have a strong minion already on board. Now, sometimes Win-More cards are great and exactly what a deck needs. They're what allow you to leverage an earlier advantage into a strong win. This as a followup to Primordial Drake makes a lot of sense--the high HP and board clear battlecry mean it'll probably survive a turn, and an extra 4/8 taunt might just win you the game. But so might just casting Spikeridge Steed the turn after, but that's also a card which works fine with a hero power dude or any other cheap minion, whereas this is trash on a dude.
Don't get me wrong. This is a powerful effect, one which I kind of expect to see in at least some meme decks, maybe someone will figure out a top-tier use for it, but maybe not.
Stupidly OP. Stupidly Control Oriented. We need Ben Brode leaves the game if we want a good HS ever.
Menagerie Warden is way better card than this, and it's not currently played in any iteration.
nope, warden only targets beasts, this one targets any Minion that has been spikeridge steeeded, or the Stegodon itself or a Sludge Belcher because fuck aggro
Just in case we still had doubts deathrattles will be a thing, this meta...
Im praying for a deathrattle meta after opening the priest quest i want to play a control-deahtrattle deck
We have come a long way from "more deck slots confuse players" to this card text.
EDIT: Does it resummon Corpse Raiser or the target of the battlecry?
I think the target minion cuz then the "resummon this minon" will read on the target minion.
