And card arts this expansion continue to be shitty, faded and blurry AF. Just gotta hope that's only video screenshots, not the actual game arts. Although, the composition is also pretty unpleasant on this one.
The real question is: will there be a deck where > ?
You can play both.
Clearly has synergy with Animated Berserker.
turn 1 animated berserker . turn 2 + coin into this card.
Cards are getting better and better. I like it.
I think this card will be played in tempo warr like the one that was at the start of wog and i dont think that deck ran acolyte but i might be wrong.
the main weakness is how it needs to survive damage, not take it. Acolyte is good because no matter what you're getting a card. This isn't the case for Val'kyr which makes it not have instant value. Acolyte can get destroyed, but that's usually a good waste of removal which makes Acolyte really good. Also, Animated Berserker still won't see too much play in my opinion, because Whirlwind is so much better.
Grim Patron light … when a card like this doesn't work in priest it won't work in warrior.
It is even more conditional than Imp Gang Boss, sorry, but 20 dust.
In aggro meta, you take your Patron warrior deck, you substitute Death's Bite for its new analog, you add those girls - congratz, your early game just became stronger.
Interesting, but like Hogger, Doom of Elwynn, it suffers from bad synergy with whirlwind effects. It'll be interesting to see where this could work.
This being a lower mana cost means it'll be easier to activate, and might allow you to gain its effect alongside other cards with enrage/damage synergy. It feels like a weaker Imp Gang Boss, but with a greater reward if you can make good use of it.
This card has the advantage of not being anywhere near as slow as Hogger though.
every card revealed i say to myself "this card is crap, but maybe things will get better?" but i am always wrong.
What, Every card.....
very few cards are good, the rest is very bad
most of you try to be very optimistic only to feel that your 50$ was worth it, but you have to accept the harsh truth
have you been asleep for the last couple days?
I might be wrong, but people are exagerating about some cards... i don't know if they try to be optimistic or they are just bad
like whenever they see a card they bring a fucking 3 cards combo or they go to the best case scenario to justify it being good
I don't think it's about justifying it being "good." It's about exploring the potential interactions that could potentially converge to making it playable.
There are cards that appear to be obviously great, and there's not much to say about them. If they end up bombing, it will be to everybody's surprise.
There are cards that are blank-statted pack-fillers. There's nothing to say on them.
Then there are the cards on the edge, like this one. This card isn't immediately bad on first glance. Further analysis shows that it has some stiff competition for the 3-drop slot, and its limitations make it potentially easy to counter for certain classes. But these discussions are the most interesting, because it's fun to see if we can spy the sleeper cards. Nobody was impressed with Stonehill Defender and Primordial Drake, but both have become wide-spread in the current game.
So that's what I see people doing here. This card could end up being part of a decent tempo Warrior deck, or it could end up in the bin. Or it could end up in that deck next expansion after it gets more cards. Speculation is the fun part of it all.
