Maybe Thoughtsteal copies cards that are currently in opponent's deck the moment Thoughtsteal is played. And this card can copy any card in opponnent's deck, regardless if some cards were already played. I don't know, just guessing.
"In your opponents deck" probably retains to current cards left to be drawn. Example; fatigue turns would not result in a card being drawn, because there are no cards left in the deck
"From your opponents deck" would draw from the 30 cards originally used to create the deck
On the contrary, Shifting Shade has the same wording as this new card and it works the same as Thoughtsteal. It's just a case of Blizzard inconsistency in card text.
Nice, this kind of card priest need to make the quest playable.
Amazing. Must include for Priest
One drop priest card that is viable. Pogchamp
Power Creep
Shifting Shade
Before anyone asks Shifting Shade - So it costs less helping the priest legendary quest, isn't played on turn 4 where a 3 health minion trades really badly and has elemental tag which we assume will be useful this expansion.
Why would you ever play shifting shade now which is why I view this as power creep. Will it be played? Hard to say with so many cards left to reveal but it is definitely better than Shifting Shade.
Not 1by1... but you could call it a better Swashburglar , Babbling Book or Webspinner.
You get to see 3 cards of your enemy and can pick the one that is the best for yourself (that option alone is very strong)... it comes back with NZoth for more value and can get buffed as well. Priest needed another 1drop.. but the powerlevel is the strongest i would say out of all 1-1 1drops that you can find.
Not as toxic as patches... but 2x discover a card from your enemy is hardcore value (and we know how much value Drakonid gives)
Hey, it's copy a random card from opponent's deck, not discover :/
But anyway, strong card with great deathrattle synergy potential.
Edit: And it's an elemental, we have to see what happens with that new tribe.
This is actually the most dissapointing thing in blizzards' design.. but most card games have synergistic minions you have to play togheter..
For example in shadowverse venia the vampire iz really good with bat cards so you include her with 4-5 bat cards as a "package" even on control since she is quite broken anyway, well shadowverse does it better though since it doesn't just push archtypes all over the place.
