Deck Spotlight: Meta-Destroying Dreadsteed Warlock
FalconePunch55 brings us a Warlock deck this evening which is claimed to be a meta-destroyer.
- Beats Reno Lock/Zoo, Face Shaman, Secretadin, Control/Patron Warrior, Control Priest, Tempo and Freeze Mage consistently.
- Has some trouble with Combo Druid and some Hunters.
- Sacrificial Pact although an odd card helps you duplicate Dreadsteed.
- Turn 8 Dream: Dreadsteed -> Baron Rivendare -> Sacrificial Pact ->Sacrificial Pact.
If you want to shake things up, 5380 dust ain't that bad. Check out the deck below and head on over to the deck guide to learn more!

Deck Spotlight: Reno Midrange Druid
In our second deck spotlight of the evening, Absolutionn brings us a Reno Midrange Druid deck which he has been having success with on the ladder.
- Mulligan for Zombie Chow and Darnassus Aspirant all the time.
- Living Roots, Haunted Creeper, Knife Juggler, Wild Growth, and Shade of Naxxramas are secondary Mulligan targets.
- The only card included twice in the deck is Swipe - it is often a gamechanger.
- Harrison Jones can be a great accessory if you're having issues with Paladins, Rogues, or Warriors. It is recommended to swap it out with Bloodmage Thalnos or The Black Knight
The deck comes in at a somewhat high 7060 dust to craft. You can find the deck below to get creating it right away, but be sure to go and check out the full deck guide to learn more about the deck, mulligans, and matchups.

Stay Classy, HearthPwn
Our third card design competition of this season, Stay Classy HearthPwn, is now live! This week's Card Design Competition comes from RandomScribbles, whose Murloc Holmes and Watt-son was the winner of our "Feugen and Stalagg Need Friends" competition. The basic rules of this week's theme are:
- Make a class card that uses a listed mechanic from a different class, e.g. a priest card with windfury.
- This card must still feel like it belongs to its actual class. That windfury priest card needs a justification for its white border. This can be via secondary mechanics, lore, or whatever you want; it just shouldn't feel out of place in its chosen class.
- Druids can't use the hunter's beast synergy mechanic for obvious reasons.
Click the banner below to read the full rules and to submit your card, and head on over to the discussion thread to talk about this week's entries. Don't forget to vote on your favourites!

Keep up the good work, Hearthpwn!
So cooool!!
If I had the dust to make either of those, I would. LOL
How would that weapon work (what was the intent)? Would flare destroy it? Would ooze or harrison still destroy it? Would attacking the hero cause attacker to 4 damage? Or is it more like a bluff so the opponent has to think what that "secret" might be and possibly misplay?
Considering Stealth is a fairly unexplored mechanic (or to put it more accurately, underused) I think Ambush could get away with being a two mana spell. Two mana deal three damage spells with a benefit already exist (see: Frostbolt) so I think costing this card at three mana is a little too far on the safe side of design.
That said, I agree that it's a good card design. I could see it being printed.
Lol, just played against a Warlock running this exact deck, card for card, at rank 10. Things didn't work out so well. He dropped his Baron and did some sacs, but ended up with six dreadsteeds and couldn't play anything else. His Jaraxus popped out of his voidcaller and got wasted -- he never taunted it. He ended up killing his own seventh (non dreadsteed) minion to fit more on the board, even going so far as to owling his own dreadsteed.
He spent all his time running dreadsteeds into my minions that they barely made a dent into my face (control warrior). Finally Mal'Ganis came out, but it got BGH immediately next turn. By the end of the game he had fatigued himself -- I was an easy 10 cards ahead of him still because of him drawing so much.
Pro-tip: If you don't know what the hell you're doing, don't netdeck. It's lame. Whenever I see someone playing a deck they just read off the internet, playing it card for card, I can't help but think, "This person can't even bother to come up with their own strategies." Maybe that's cool for some people, but one of the fun parts of this game, for me, is making a deck and finding out how it works for me and tweaking it. Letting someone else do all of that takes half the game away.
Anyone having success with the Dreadsteed deck? All there seems to be in the deck comments are people bashing his description of it...
Don't knock it til you've tried it.
Those are very interesting cards. The murloc one not so much. I would like see ideas for other tribes
I love Trapper's Riffle very interesting mechanic, but problem of it you can reveal your secret in your turn, that's a bit questionable.
Blindlight Psychic's text could be just like "Discover a Murloc" ...
No, it doesn't Discover anything itself. It alters what Discover effects do. While it's in play, whenever you would Discover something, you instead Discover a Murloc.
Allright, i see now, my bad. Thanks for explanation :d
Ambush should have gotten 1st.
I agree, how can Ambush not win here, that card is the essence of a Rogue
I don't like the weapon but the other two cards are kinda cool.
