posted a message on Some legendaries to DE

To my best knowledge, any legendary from hunter (except DK) is complete garbage. There are better epics (even commons) that do the same job for less mana. KK is a safe DE, it will never have a solid spot other than meme decks.

posted a message on Why does everyone hate Priest?

Well, i I find funny how Priests (and the whole community) complained of Hunter hero power and DK Priest is a control AND finisher version of it. It comes at late game, sure; while hunter hero power comes at a constant ping BUT I find stupid how the whole HS vulgus hated hunter because of it.

To answer the question : the same reason you hate hunters. Priests become priestards at late game (just ping face).

posted a message on Competitive HS, just RNG?

I see what you want to say here, but first:

    • The Draw part is the pure RNG form of CCG and TCG. It's the most natural aspect of it which you can't fight against. Thus, if you build a deck around drawing a card on turn 1-2, then you are going to get heavily screwed most of the times.
    • I agree with how heavily you can get countered by the same RNG factor, but deck building is the ability to counter (at some point) the random factor.
    • HS in the RNG fiesta! Don't like it? Change to ESL. I welcome you there!

posted a message on We need a report button.

Implementing a system to detect false (or 'salty') reports is actually a good problem for Machine Learning/Neural Networks/Deep Learning. With the amount of data they gather each day is achievable. Do you think the salty king genre (MOBAs) don't have that kind of filters given the size of their companies?

posted a message on Please don't nerf Jade Druid

I agree there must be late game dominant archetype that counters control in late game, but druid got covered every flaw it had: early game defense via taunts (remember they don't have a solid removal) and late game via jades. However, the ramp is essential for this task. Having said that, the ramp is the problem. I've seen many games where druid is at 10 mana at turns  < 5. That's the problem on UI: if it were played on THE turn 10, it's ok. It makes you 'lose tempo' at that stage of the game, but with the ramp...well, is  THE tempo play.

Jades by themselves are ok, and even SP is fair in a way. IMO the nerf would be to punish the ramp in a way, it's out of control.

posted a message on Poor Rexxar

I lost my interest in HS after the pathetic approach of MSoG with the handbuff (still useless, non meta - like jade or highlander decks) mechanic, so I changed to TES:L. Hunter can be piloted to legend, but hell you need a lot of luck and knowledge of the meta. I crafted golden Rexxar just for fun.

Bearshark is the hell of a card against priesst, mages and druids. And properly buffed, it can snowball really neat. However, consider the fact that hunter is going to suck for another year (suck := non meta, meme or rogue deck, teching for the meta).

posted a message on So Hunter is the underdog once more...

Healing in hunter is (was, I can't remember if it's present right now) in WoW: the exotic spirit beasts only available for beast hunter had the healing exotic ability. It wasn't that impactful but it was useful to use it in certain situations. So, hunter can have healing and stick to lore.

Oh boy, I can't understand that much hate against a class. If certain people give so shity arguments to hate an instance of a game, I can't be surprised why there's stuff like what happened in Virginia. Instead of making a game (world) grow together, some just focus on killing the most "disgusting" aspects.

posted a message on Malygod, the only way to Still play Hunter

Interesting. About the Tracking issue, it's viable because you need a lot of draw power (remember patron warrior), so with that missing, tracking is suitable. However,  I don't like the idea to throw away cards, but that's the feeling the card has make in many hunter players (willing to take the risk or not?).

On the other side, with all these spells I hear the call of YOLO-Saron to fit here. I mean,I've give up on hunter this expansion to stop risking my health, so I'm more like 'Who cares? YOLO!'.

    Nice idea!!

    posted a message on Legends

Sadly, hunter has always had some of the worst legendaries in all HS. King Crushis far worst than Grommash Hellscream (the most comparable legendary). Gazrilla, Princess and Harambe are good ideas but I still think they are (were) useless in the meta (in their respective meta).

Don't craft anything for hunter. Go play Legends, is in a better form than HS these days.

posted a message on Kibler's Reno Hunter

Indeed, when you play another class that runs Finley (like dragon warrior) they want hunter hero power to finish games. Finley can be useful against aggro matches, both body and the opportunity to get a more useful (situational) hero power. But against more slow decks, the card tends to be dead. Not useless, but is better to push for damage and fight for board control (this is the tactic for any midrange and reno hunter).

I haven't seen this guy play the deck, but I know how to play it so I have an idea. Finley is situational but still useful for the meta. Just play some matches with different archetypes and you would spot why he took that decision.

posted a message on Do hunters need a change/refresh?

Hunter has always been a 'hated' class since the face hunter cancer, but something they tend to forget is that almost every hunter deck is budget friendly. New people could approach to the hunter class, craft some rare cards and they were ready to go and play fairly well in ladder. I remember reading in ES:L how the nerfed a card just because it was  performing really well in a token budget deck.

Control decks are expensive as hell and they become pay-to-almost-win. On the other hand, hunter is not that popular. They have shitty legendary cards that will always struggle to priority removals and the only place to enjoy now is wild unless you really know how to pilot a hunter deck properly.

That said, we don't cry (I point at priests): we will struggle but endure it, time will only say.
