I don't think it's Dr. Boom that's problematic, it's more about the combination of tools warrior has at its disposal right now. Turn 10: Dr. Boom, coin, Omega Devastator for example is a huge tempo swing, especially considering that Devastator also gets rush, so you can deal 14 to enemy minions.
only 5 packs from new expansion in the duration of 5 days...ohh blizzard what a money grabber..i know i'm gonna get a lot of downvotes, but it's really frustrating trying to keep up with a very expensive game
Is it? I have been playing for like 2 years, I pre-ordered once and yet I open around 80 packs and can craft any deck I want when the expansion launches with just in-game gold. We have been getting more gold for completing quests and more free stuff lately.
Maybe it’s because I’m a gainfully employed adult with common sense, but the level of childish entitlement I see in posts on these forums is comical.
1. Blizzard is in the business of making money. If their product is too expensive for you, then accept the consequences of being a F2P player, or get a job. It really is that simple. Folks should be happy there is even a F2P option at all. F2P players literally add nothing to the game other than being a possible win for a net decker. Not to mention that over the years, F2P players have made guides for others on how to be successful at it in order to get better cards.
2. If I ran Blizzard, I too would get social media streamers test driving the product. Anyone that watched the past couple days has had just as much insight into the expansion as the streamers themselves. This will further drive sales while everyone is making the newest power decks. Again, it’s all about profit. And last time I checked, the entire world had the opportunity to attend a Fireside Gatherings to open packs and play test early.
3. Just like back in my MtG days, all you hear is the constant whine about “netdecks”. Yeah it sucks, but it’s human nature to pick the best options for achieving goals. I’m sorry your 1,000,000 damage turn 15 OTK meme deck got mollywhooped on turn 5 by aggro. Want your combo to go off? Play against the practice AI in normal mode. Expecting casual mode decks to be any different than ranked mode decks is just plain dumb. People play test net decks in casual so as not to lose any rank. It’s casua’ls actual purpose.
4. Yes, the dusting system sucks. See #1.
TL;DR - Grow up, get a job, have some common sense about how a business runs. If this game is actually making your life suck, go do something else.
Woah buddy, stop it. You're making too much sense for a community like Blizzard's.
I think that having "control" is what makes control decks control decks. You can control board by having a lot of removal and you can control your life total by having a lot of life gain cards. At least that's how I understand it. Hunter is not a good control class because of their lack of good board clears and life gain cards, so they basically have to flood the board and play aggro or midrange, because they can't control the board in any other way. Priest, warlock and warrior on the other hand have a lot of AOEs and life gain cards, so they are good at control and don't have to rely on being aggressive.
They did it really well this time around, people LOVE to complain when things go wrong but credit where's credit due, great livestream really liked it!
I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did.

Craft Whizbang, have a little bit of fun, find out which play styles work for you and which don't, get a feel for the meta and then pick something

Am I the only one who keeps running across Malygos Hunter?

His effect works when he is on board, it's pretty obvious mechanic.
