Seems like it has potential. Nerubian egg into this? A 3/4 for 3 at worst. A turn 3 3/4 and 4/4 for 3?! And not a bad draw late if you play sylvannis or something. Need to see how a deck might come together, but I like it!
Seems like Control Paladin is likely to be the answer to Control Warrior.... but it will be tough since CW has so many potential threats. Control Warriors often only want to put out one threat at a time vs Pally now (Because of Equality) - this might force an overcommit from the Warrior player. Playing right into that type of board clear.
Will be an interesting dynamic. Obviously the tempo swing can be huge when this guy comes down - but if the opponent has the right pieces for a board clear it's going to hurt a lot.
Another very slow card. How good it is depends on how long the game goes. I think this is only remotely viable in a control game.
It actually feels a bit more like shadowform than anything else to me. (Not a good sign) 1 damage per turn with no mana spent is a good bit different than 2 damage for 2 mana from shadowform. (No needed further investment)
How many turns would this guy have to stay on the board to make you happy you played him? 8? 10? 15? Any chance the game goes that long and he doesn't get silenced?
If the game slows WAY down then maybe, just maybe it can work. Doubt it - but a fun card to try to make work.
Interesting card - if hard to find a place for in most decks.
Acolyte of pain and this guy are best buddies.
Play an acolyte or two, whirlwind, draw... if you draw these guys, draw more! Repeat.
That interaction nice - but not enough to build a deck around. Will be fun to experiment to see what else you can accomplish with this. I expect a fun card in constructed, but not played at the highest levels.
My first instinct was that the card is awful - but I'm softening that viewpoint a bit. Mostly because it does impact the board the turn it's played - something we always want in a big drop.
Vs an Ancient of Lore/War he clears it and leaves a 10/5 body to worry about.
Played with Aviana on 10 mana, he costs 1 mana and gives two significant worries while clearing off a big threat.
In an extreme late game pally, you could get gimmicky and put hand of protection on him.
In an Astral Communion deck, he'd hold down the fort for a while if you top deck him.
In priest, you can charge him out, clear a big minion and heal him up for more next turn.
Very very slow card, and not too exciting, but I'll hold my judgment. I think druid decks hold the best chance for making use of him.
6 mana spot is hard to fit something in. This card is well above average IMO, but that may not be good enough.
Lets look at Pally class cards - How many suck, which are great, etc?
Suck: Eye for an Eye, Repentance, Quartermaster (if not Pally), Cobalt Guardian
Amazing: Tyrion, Lay on Hands
Everything else can be decent-great depending on the situation in the game. I was originally thinking that this was WAY worse than azure drake - but I don't think so now. I can see lots of utility in getting a Pally Card off this guy. Still going to be super hard to make a spot for him, but not a card I will completely dismiss.
I see this as similar to harvest golem in power. Which isn't that bad! It's slightly worse than the golem in some scenarios, and a bit better in others (in buff decks). Both Silent Knight and Harvest Golem get to take 2 hits, deal 2 damage when they attack, etc. Silent knight can't be targeted by spells though, and likely keeps his shield for some buffing.
Well above average card, but since harvest golem isn't seeing any play, I think this will likely be the same - except in very tailored buff decks.
I think this card is better than the 2/1 it will become in most scenarios. It is something that the opponent will need to clear before you can buff it or get extra value. So usually it soaks up at least 3 damage and deals 2 damage. Not bad for a one drop. It also has potential to do more.
1 mana
Soak 3+ damage
Deal 2 damage min.
Potentially deal 4 or more if buffed, pinged, etc.
Not something for every deck, but I think this could see play.
I've made a deck that uses some of the same concepts, but uses stealthed minions as spell power targets. I feel like this is slightly more consistent than the wisps, because those stealth minions are generally better than wisps, and if they are Shade of Naxx. you have even more incentive to leave it stealthed and continue to bomb away in later turns. It does lack the OTK element of this deck. I have to admit that I never considered wisps here. Wonder if they would be better than the Worgen's in my deck. Anyhow here's my list if anyone is interested:

Underwhelming - but not a bad card. If you play a taunt on 4, it kinda feels like a mana tide. Interested in trying it out.

Finally a way to get board as priest! Volazj will actually have something to copy on curve!
This deck is in its infancy - but so far it's performing well. Circle of Healing is an amazing tempo card - and this deck attempts to exploit that.

If this card is going to see the light of day, I think it will be with sunfury playing a significant role. Not sold, but will try it out for sure.

I like the concept, and I'm giving it a go. Feels like it's missing card draw though. I might attempt to add some. Thanks for posting!
