Just would like to say, this achievement system is really awesome. Sad to see it going away soon. Thanks for all the hard work! Hope you guys will consider creating a similar one over there :-)
I used to get some opponents playing some of the higher meta decks in Wild Casual as well. It will be fun just testing out some crazy yet funny decks in Casual mode.
Spellbreaker will be very useful with those taunts from Animal Companion or Mechs.
The goal is to kill your opponent's Hunter before the Hunter DK appears, which will be disastrous. So you would need to go face as much as possible, and maintain board presence as much as possible.
Adding Lich King is possible. But there are already 3 x 8-cost cards in this particular deck, so adding one more may affect the consistency if drawn too early. Sea Giants would be preferred over Lich King, due to the ease of generating Totems and minions, hence playing it at very low cost while still being able to do other things. For this deck you would want to hit the opponent as much as you can on every turn.
In theory, multiple card draws are definitely good with this Stargazer Luna. But in reality, it can be rather inconsistent to play this, since you are being forced to play the right-most card while this is on board. It may restrict your options and card choices.
True that they would usually plan expansions a year+ ahead of time. But the main issue here is to be able to constantly/regularly review the meta and/or the power level of certain cards (or cards with potential design issues), and not wait for 9-month to a year to make the necessary changes. Be it buffs or nerfs. And not to be overly afraid of refunding dusts to players, who need the dusts (desperately) to craft cards that they really want.
That's just one of the main problems that makes people frustrated about playing the game. If more regular reviews were performed and executed, it would be awesome.
Yeah, reached Legend 4 times in total; 1 time in Standard, 3 times in Wild. And only when there is a positive win-rate during the climb from 5-legend, then I will start to grind a little. Else, will just hang around in Rank 5 and chill out.
But most importantly is to have fun, and I don't really enjoy netdecking or playing aggro decks. It is definitely more satisfying to build your own deck and win; that feeling is priceless.
Netdecking is the main problem with Wild at this point. I definitely agree that after Wild Brawliseum was introduced, things started to get very different from the past. All you see are Cubelocks, Giantlocks, Big Priest, Kingsbane Rogue, and tons of Aggro Pally.
Wild used to be fun, but it doesn't felt like that anymore, unfortunately. It felt like you have to play these decks in order to stay relevant in the meta. The best part about Wild was supposed to be the diversity of the decks you play against, not only 4-5 types of decks... They can either start buffing some other Wild cards, or nerf some of them specifically Naga Sea Witch.
Why are you being so negative to the guy he yolo'd for fun it worked out he got a laugh and wanted to share his joy he didn't complain about it being busted he was sharing something that very rarely works out.
Exactly what I was thinking. I think he just wanted to share about the RNG and yolo factor that he had in the game. Nonetheless, it's pretty cool to be able to pull this at Turn 1 though :-)
While Priest requires DK and Raza to work effectively, it also requires the right draws to have that effective combo. And many times it gets rekt by Aggro, without being able to see Turn 5/6, especially with bad draws. Similarly for Big Priest, it requires very specific draws to make it combo work (e.g. Barnes). And the chances of getting Barnes on your starting hand is like the same as chances of getting Patches on your starting hand (for Pirate Warrior); chances are considerably slim, but still possible.
If you play Standard, both Raza and Kazakus will be gone on the next Standard cycle, which means that Razakus/Highlander Priest will be gone as well. And Priest DK won't be as effective as it is anymore; it will be absolutely too high mana cost to keep refreshing your hero power at 2 (instead of 0). No doubt we still have a few months away, and anything could happen especially after the upcoming nerf. Perhaps Big Priest will still be around for quite sometime, due to the newer cards it has in the current archetype.
It's not OP actually. Your first obstacle is to be able to clear Aggro. If you can't survive till Turn 5/6 especially with bad draws, that's pretty much a GG. Inconsistency may be an issue with this deck.

Spell Hunters can be a problem. But we just have to play around those secrets
