posted a message on What is in the best standalone card ever printed? (your opinion)

    Quote from SunbleachedAngel >>

What does that even mean "best standalone card"? Cards are at their best with synergy. I say Call to Arms at 4 mana is the most busted card at the moment.

Cards being best with synergy has absolutely nothing to do with the question. He specifically mentioned STAND ALONE, therefore, you shouldn't need to consider which cards are better when not standing alone....

In team sports like NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Soccer, etc., you can easily ask which athlete is individually the best.

As to the OP - Sylvanas is the best.

    Quote from SkilledOne >>

Whoever voted ''no'' here is either a Priest player or trolling. Razakus has a good matchup against everything (and I mean it) in the meta except Quest Mage. The deck has answers to everything: Aggro, Midrange, other Control decks, starvation in Africa and the situation between North Korea and USA. Multiple cards in that deck need a nerf, not Fiery War Axe or Hex lmao.

     Wrong.
North Korea is still over there and we are still over here. And WTF do you know about starvation in Africa? What priest cannot fix however, is how bitchy you sound.

I shouldn't waste my efforts though, since I know Blizzard cares fuck all about Wild anyway.

     1. You do care.
    2. If Blizzard doesn't care about what your saying and you felt that you shouldn't have wasted the effort, exactly WTF are you blabbin' about then? What are you trying to say man?!

posted a message on Thread for listing Toxic Players?
    Quote from FrodoBagginYa >>

Just played a player named Gwynbleiddd for a second time who followed the match with an insult-laced message. Sorry to say this is happening with more frequency as aggro-decks are becoming more popular (not sure if it's correlated, but in my experience tons of aggro players are ultra-competitive and just trying to rank up ASAP).

Anyway, any threads to put their tags out there?

PS - Of course you can just not accept any friend requests, but what fun is that?

posted a message on Why are the deck recipes utter shit?

Take some motherfuqin' responsibility. Something lost on most these days. They are offered to you FOR FREE. If you don't like it, you can click a few buttons and add different cards. If you do that and you find that your version is more dog$hit than the recipes, then I guess you come to the conclusion that despite them being $hit, your skills are clearly worse.

In that case, you have no room to complain about the game not making up for your shortcomings.

posted a message on Is Beneath the Grounds worth it for Miracle rogue against Reno Decks ?

Shut down Reno when I really need the heal and you win. Otherwise, I think you overestimate how devastating Beneath the Grounds is to my Kazakus. I can win without Kazakus - a lot. The games where I just auto-lose, Kazakus didn't matter. Reno mattered. If I didn't have Reno in time, I lose (vs. aggro). There are 2 cards responsible for easily 80+% of my wins in Renolock. Reno Jackson and Lord Jaraxxus. Kazakus is extremely powerful but he is not so important to my winrate with Renolock that without him, I lose.

I've won a few games with my Renolock vs. opponents that hit Brann + Kazakus and I never drew mine.

I've won a lot of games with my Renolock vs. opponents that pulled Kazakus with Dirty Rat.

I've won a lot of games with my Renolock vs. opponents that happened to tech Beneath the Grounds.

It's a simple answer whether you include/tech it or not. Do you need to shut down Reno Jackson? Notice what I said. Not Reno decks, but Reno Jackson specifically. If you can't overcome the heal to full on turn 6, then add it.

Otherwise, it may change your deck more than you think and if you don't pressure me fast enough vs. my Renolock, you lose - with or without my Kazakus.

    Quote from Flegit >>

I haven't played HS for like 16 months, comes back, goes from rank 25 to 7 in like 4 days, and now in the past 3 days I've gone from rank 7 to 15, legit losing everything in the world. I've been legend every season I've played.

This one is basically have the best starting hand and a little bit of luck and you win. GG. Literally no skill in this game anymore with all the new cards

posted a message on How would YOU revamp the ladder?

I'd like to see more creativity in decks. As a very old school Magic and video game player, I've been there, playing decks and playing video games without having the internet to fall back on for creativity and game-play. I had to figure out the level/boss/quest, for myself. I couldn't just watch a "how to beat it" video. I couldn't just 'netdeck'. I had to create my own stuff and through trial and error, figure things out. Go to tournaments, sit across from players, brainstorm and tweak here and there.

Give any given meta exactly 2 weeks (14 days) to become established. After 14 days, players on the Standard Ladder will play games as normal but there is a new twist to it all.

A list of cards will be released. This list is based upon input from pros (maybe a specific list of people/committee), tournament results, decks/cards listed on the main page of Hearthstone websites, and most importantly from the community/player votes/polls.

The list has 5 neutral minions and 3 cards from each class (32 cards). This list can (and obviously will) shift and change each meta.

If you win a game in standard with a deck that doesn't have a single card from this list, you gain an extra star.

    That's it.

posted a message on Drakonid Operative needs to be nerfed

Drakonid Operative gives Priest a viable deck and that deck helps to give Pirates a bit of trouble, which is a good thing. There are still current meta decks which completely destroy Dragon Priest at the moment though, Operative or not. If Renolock can get any board control (which is easy with 40,000 board clears) and drop Jaraxxus, it's gg for Priest. Priest has 0% winrate vs. Jaraxxus.

Foe Blackbrew is the most broken card and will never be a card in hearthstone.I like hungry murloc tho but that murloc looks ugly asf.Master Greenpaw is also look unplayable and way too anti

When making them I knew that Foe would be the most powerful.
Greenpaw though, yes it's anti but I can see it as playable. An 8 mana 6/6 Legendary is really poor if you come up against a non Jade deck. If you happen to come up against it though, or have a deck that is decent against the meta except Jade, is his battlecry enough to warrant inclusion in the deck and the risk of being a dead card vs. non jade? That was my thinkin' at least.

posted a message on This is why Hearthstone is complete trash - a rank 25 beginner could play exactly like Orange and beat Savjz in game 7 (rant)
    Quote from redtuliphk >>

This post is referring to game 7 of Savjz vs Orange in Seatstory Cup VI.

It's just sad, seeing how a brainless aggro warrior deck, requiring no skills and thinking at all, made Savjz's dragon priest deck looked like complete trash.

Basically Savjz couldn't do anything except conceding at turn 4. In fact he could have conceded one to two turns earlier. He is such a phenomenal player for his renolock and other creative decks like his combo Kun C'Thun deck.

Orange won game 7 however, using nothing but luck only. He won, just because he luckily had two Small-Time Buccaneer early. A brainless rank 25 noob can play the same and made Savjz looked like a complete idiot.

Blizzard please fix the aggro cancer in Hearthstone. You are turning this game into complete meaningless shit.

One simple question. If you answer it well, I'll concede any point I'm not trying to make.
If a rank 25 noob can defeat a seasoned amazing pro with DECK A, then WHY THE FUKC isn't every seasoned amazing pro running Deck A? Why even consider anything else? Clearly, its all you need to beat the pro's.

    Here is your scenario:
You are at a tournament with other pro's.
You wan't to win that tournament.
Play the deck that lesser players can beat the pro's with.
    You win the tournament.

How/why is/are there even any discussion, questions, etc.?
Let's imagine for a moment that rank 25 noob, playing his aggro brainless, no skill, warrior deck DOESN'T draw 2 Small-Time Bucanneer. Does anything change against an elite human being really good hearthstone player?
Is it the deck? The opponents deck? The luck of your draw? The luck of their draw? The RNG of certain cards in play?
Are there other factors or this just simply a case of - THIS DECK BEATS THAT DECK NO MATTER WHO PLAYS EITHER DECK. If that's it, then back to the 1st part. Why doesn't everyone just play it? All the time. Rogue Pirate. Shaman Pirate. Warrior Pirate. Aggro. Period. I win everything.
