posted a message on This joke with Pyroblast needs to end.

I know you would hate it but really when you play against the Mage, you have to assume they can Pyroblast in turn 8 and cautiously manage your health to stay out of Pyro range.  In arena, I admit its worse since anything could happen, if the Mage drafted a dream deck there is nothing we can do about it, and the same argument stands for all classes.  But drafting Pyroblast with other cards not synergized to rush me down and kill me in turn 8?  I can definitely deal with that.

Pyroblast is strong, but all classes get their strong card.  If the Mage is too strong, it would be Ice Block that needed to look at, not Pyroblast.

I kinda like that Draft Mode idea.  But some measures should put to avoid people keep drafting for that dream deck instead of playing, perhaps a maximum of 3 decks could be drafted and at least 3 games must be played before you can retire the deck.

posted a message on Warlock rush is too strong,

What I hated the most is that Warlock is actually my favorite class (over 200+ games played with warlock giant), but I was forced to play a Pally in order to stay ranked.  Fortunately, pallies do extremely well against warlock rush, and there are enough warlocks to make it worthy.

I updated my deck as follows:

    Pally in Progress
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (22) Ability (6) Weapon (2)
    Loading Collection

Ran it a few times and it feels pretty good, though I feel like Im missing just a bit more board clear. I feel like a second equality would be bette than a wild pyromancer. Does equality + consecration hold its own well enough to forgo the pyromancer?

Also, I know it isn't really done anymore, but with the amount of healing minions/battlecry minions... would brewmasters work?

Another Equality is definiately worth having, just for the higher chance to draw it when its really needed.  Equality + Wild pyromancer is an awesome 4 cost board clear, however, won't work when there is a blood imp in play.

Brewmaster is fine for a healing focus deck like yours, another option is having more draw power.

Alright, sounds good. Just a question for anyone, is Rag even that useful for a paladin/as a legendary in general? I mean its helped me win games sometimes, but I feel like I don't need it

Rag is a great Legendary to put in a control deck, same for Sylvanas.  I would still keep it in your deck if I were you

I would definitely craft an Equality, the Equality + Consecration / Pyromancer + Equality combo is very useful for to counter the current meta of rush decks.

Also, if you happen to have the key rogue cards such as Eviscerate, Defias Ringleader, and Si: Agent, you can make quite a strong rogue deck with the cards you got.

My main deck is actually a combo rogue haha
Just trying to branch out to paladin right now, since rogue 24/7 is getting boring

Also, I managed to get about 300 dust. Any recommendations? Im thinking 2 equality and 1 pyromancer?

haha Rogue is my least played class next to Warrior but she has actually gained me most of the my ranks.

With 300 dusts, I would make an Equality and Aldor Peacekeeper first, see how they do before making another equality or pyromancer.

Reason for Peacekeeper is that when have a strong broad and your opponent play a big minion, you dont have to equality your minions to kill that, just Peacekeeper and deal with that depends on the situation.

posted a message on Have ranked seasons + a bad casual mode hurt the game's fun factor?

Currently, there is no tangible reward playing in ranked.  If they were to put a small amount of one-time gold reward for each rank each season, it may worth playing for a casual player.  I am a casual player myself, play about 2-3 hours everyday, and more over the weekends.  My motivation stopped after grinding to rank 9 last night, knowing there is basically no difference between a rank 9 and, say a rank 5.  I am pretty certain if I try hard enough, defeating walls and waves of warlock, I will eventually get to at least rank 5, but whats the point?  It is better to spend my time in arena which everyone is on a somewhat fair ground, while having fun and get rewarded doing so.  It is even better to play in casual mode, cause it is hard to predict who to face next with people trying new stuffs there.  I lost many games there, but its fun to play against all these crazy gimmick decks people have built.

I'm playing now with the drakes replaced with novice engineers and it seems to be working great. I'm almost rank 10 now and all I have been facing is aggro warlocks.

They burn me down and I drop a 0 cost molten and shadowfury and then drop another one and taunt it and they have 1 card left in hand :)

You replaced the Drakes with the Novice? for extra card draw?

Hmm, I wouldn't take away Drakes, it fits very well in this kind of deck and warlock's hero power.  Also, card draw shouldn't be that big of a problem since you are a warlock after all.

posted a message on The two worst classes - How to fix them

I will take any warrior hero power synergized with Weapon, give it more attack or durability.  Armor looks good at first since warriors are always hitting with their weapon, but there are nearly no cards utilizing the armor, except for maybe Shield Slam, making armor bad.

Hunter hero power actually fits extremely well into the OTK deck, since OTK was the only viable way to play a Hunter, deeming the hero power useless now unless a rush based Hunter deck is available.

posted a message on Mage Freeze being nerfed

I could understand the popularity of Mage has to be somewhat addressed by Blizzard, especially before the open beta begins.  It is not fun to play against the same class over and over again for us and for the new comers, and even less fun with how freeze is designed to not allowing your minions to attack anything for a whole turn.  However, I believe a nerf like this won't kill the Mage class, people will find a work around as it has always been.  There may be less Frost giant control mages for a few days, but soon a somewhat modified version will return.

posted a message on Warlock Giant Control

Warlock giant is just an extremely fun deck, of all the decks out there I enjoy it the most.  My win rate isn't impressive, around ~55% over 170+ games played, but it is the only deck I track my win loss every game and constantly trying to improve.  I run the same Legendaries as you except I also run Alexstrasza and Bloodmage Thalnos.  Only one Twisting Nether though, and I think that's enough.  It's interesting you put Sense Demons to pull Lord Jaraxxus, gonna give that a try :D  The Ancient Watcher, taunts and Shadowflame all have nice synergy too, overall a pretty decent deck.
