Lol, it just amazes me to see how people think that a card game typically goes.. if there is no aggro, the point of playing control is lost. They complement each other..just like if everyone is playing midrange, the whole game will become stale pretty quickly. There will always be aggro because there will always be a competitor who wants to beat you down faster...touche!!

Deftmove posted a message on Anyone else having less fun than expected?Posted in: General DiscussionWorst meta in the history of Hearthstone, people are still too drunk on "new cards" before they sober up and realize the game has basically turned into a "wait and see" for whether Quest Warrior, Quest Rogue or Quest Mage takes the cake for most uninteractive bull shit deck ever printed. It was really nice of them to delete every control class but Warrior from the game and make it so you have to craft a legendary to play any competitive deck other than face aggro. If this doesn't get Team 5 fired, nothing will.

Battenberg posted a message on Hearthstone Hits All-Time Low on MobilePosted in: General DiscussionBetween terrible design choices in the last couple of expansions, the EU price increase, the ridiculous timeframe it took to make 1 point stat changes to problematic cards, the transparent heroic brawl designed to trick players into blowing their gold reserves before an expansion, new competition from other digital CCGs, and the fact everyone's well aware Jade decks will continue to utterly dominate the control game next meta it's not exactly surprising. Even what's been revealed for Un'Goro so far has been fairly uninspired imo with very little to get excited for.
Maybe financial losses will actually prompt team 5 to listen to their players a little more (even just listening to a few pro players would be a good start). Maybe not though, at this point it feels like they're ignoring the community to make some kind of asinine point about how it's their game to mess up how they want.

user-28644922 posted a message on What Will be Nerfed - Mini-Bucc or PatchesPosted in: General DiscussionSmall-Time Buccaneer must lose 1 hp.
Patches the Pirate Charge replaced with Battlecry: Gain Charge. Now players must decide: want a free charge or a free body?
Weapon upgrades: Durability or Damage, NEVER, EVER both.
Face decks are unhealthy to the game. Not fun to play with or against, even not fun to beat: don't see how fun it is to survive an early rush and spend next few turns squashing flies on board and watching opponent burn the rope because you stopped his mindless blitzkrieg. Yes, that's how face "players" behave.

xxxxxravenxxxxx posted a message on Savjz #1 Legend Reno MagePosted in: Savjz #1 Legend Reno MagePlayed a few games and suddenly realised that I have no idea what is the win condition of this deck. There is a lot of ways to survive against almost anything your opponent can play. But what should I actually do to kill my opponent? Comparing with Renolock, there is no final combo like Leeroy+Power Overwhelming, minions are focused on clearing the board in order to prevent your face from taking damage. You just cant play Jaraxxus at some point and spam 6/6 and then go face with them. Playing up to fatigue seems like only reasonable win condition to me, which doesnt work against Jade Druids at all.

aleathas posted a message on Fixing the broken cancer meta: quitting HS Play Mode.Posted in: General DiscussionHey guys. First, let me mention that this is not a whining post. If you think that this meta is not broken, then you have no idea how the HS mechanic supposed to work - at least properly. I have been playing priest for two years - since beta and although I was always aware that the class was bad, I still could enjoy the game and in fact recently posted a shadow priest deck that got over 100+ likes.
The solution is simple stop playing hearthstone. Not only that the game is broken as hell thanks to jade idol cancer, which also proves how unprofessional the Blizzard game developers are, but also the game has become more like a pay to win, as you have to buy hundreds of packs to get the necessary cards to try new mechanics, a.k.a. Capitalism.
Don't even bother replying how to counter jade idol by playing aggro since this logic only helps awful game designers and certainly doesn't help Hearthstone community.
Anyway I am off until these two issues are fixed and PROTESTing Blizzard for it.
Enjoy(!) your ranked games against endless jade idols and 5 turn pirate warriors.
Edit: I had 4866 wins for Play mode and 3162 wins for Arena. Just added the photo to indicate that I am experienced enough in Hearthstone to complain about the direction that it goes.

Maukiepaukie posted a message on Fixing the broken cancer meta: quitting HS Play Mode.Posted in: General DiscussionI hate the current meta aswell, especially pirate warrior.
But I won't stop playing Hearthstone. I admit that I'm simply addicted to the game.
I will never, ever resort to playing cancer though.

XoloRouge posted a message on New Legendary Card Reveal: Sergeant SallyPosted in: NewsA good note with Cold Blood is it forces the opponent to use a resource to kill it. In most cases, it's just them trading their already dead minion, but if their board is already clear for whatever reason, then they'll be playing into an AOE, like how Doomsayer works. While Mage has the easiest answer, Druids and Rogues will have to tank 5 face damage, and other classes must use an entire card.
The only downside is that it dies easier, so literally anything on the opponent's board can kill it. It also gives them the opportunity to counter the ability with Aldor Peacekeeper, Silence, or Transform. -

TheHoodedClaw posted a message on New Priest Card - Drakonid OperativePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from Spritelight >>Finally i can play priest again! Priest has been in a horrible state a good while now, time for Anduin to shed som light upon Azeroth again :)
Sorry. Blizzard has announced that Drakonid Operative and Dragonfire Potion are only available to those of us who have stuck with Dragon Priest for all those months since Standard started and we lost Velen's Chosen and all of our tempo with it.Otherwise this would just become another fiasco like when lifelong Shaman players had to watch everyone else ride in and start abusing the Tunnel Troggs and Totem Golems which were designed specifically for faithful Shaman afficionados.. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I already know how the Golden version of this card looks like. The Goblin going back and forth with his finger :D

First : Battlecry, if your hero has been dealt damage this turn, Summon two 1/1 bats.
Second : Start of every turn, deal 1 dmg to hero.
3rd : Battlecry, if your hero has been dealt damage this turn, this minion gains lifelink

I see a Legend card back Warrior, I mulligan against PW (or aggro decks in general). Trust me, you can thank me later for this tip, most good players don't use Legendary card backs.
*PW triggered

Those scumbag Pirate Warriors better know how to play other decks when they accidentally qualifies.

Call me an early quitter. Some of these "Never give up" guys seemed really excited to see turn 1 Warrior/Rogue quest.
"Wow.. can't wait to trade all my minions into their taunts."
"This combo looks interesting, I wonder how a board full of 5/5 looks like."
Sarcasm aside, I know how my deck works. I skip myself the misery when I see an almost impossible to win match up. Win win situation.

Why are you guys still having this discussion pretending pirate warrior still the Alpha deck after making a few adjustments?
Guys you seen how fat those taunts are on the ladder? After farming for more than 3 months you have more than enough gold to afford other decent decks. Unless of course if you are telling me you lack of the adequate skills to play other decks after SMOrcing too much. This reason I can understand.

I kinda understand OP's point of view. I know alot of you guys are having the time of your life. Like OP, current Hearthstone feels like completing quest and play broken cards.

I've had 5000+ arena wins. I've only got Antonidas once. That was before the patch.
Nowadays I stop trying so hard after 7 wins cause the rewards are very often the same after that.

Some added me because they are obviously salty. But its fine. I added them after some time so they wouldn't remember who I am.
Few days later, they pass me 80G. Its really good to have many friends. Its win-win situation.

"Destroying a minion or weapon removes it from play. Only minions currently on the battlefield and weapons that are currently equipped can be destroyed."
So does that mean those minions destroyed this way is technically "Dead" and can synergize with Nzoth or Kel thuzad??
