I just want to read some usual stuff such as: "Pog champ, smorc, lol casters, easy lethal, etc..." instead i only see this political hk spam. I mean liberties and all that... But annoys me. I feel like MY rights as a twitch viewer of tournaments are thrashed, so why should it be tolerated?
Even if your rights were scammed by someone, it's a BAD IDEA to spoil other's people life who haven't done anything to you and might even be loyal to your problem, untill you start doing this annoying spammy stuff.
Your rights are thrashed because of the free speech of others? Whatever you say, Hitler.
These are dark days for liberty.
Why are YOUR liberties are more important than MINE to watch the stream without politics crap? so called liberals and democrats are sometimes way worse than any other nazi...
It's not that someone else's liberty takes precedence over yours in any intrinsic fashion. More that their fight is for freedom and lives of their people, yours is to not be minorly inconvenienced in your usual patterns of entertainment consumption, complaining about it in that sense makes you look petty
Hearthstone is actually doing fine, what you're complaining about is exactly the reason this game is still around. Ever since Old Gods the development team have been designing for longevity. The lore of wow and the mechanics of a card game that uses basic numbers were always going to limit Hearthstone's potential, so just chill yeah?
One problem with an idea like this is it punishes players who disenchant "useless" cards in favour of usable ones, especially if there are any awards given out for completing challenges
Enjoy running out of silences when next turn floop is played into faceless. And the turn after that when gloop sprayer copies both (with a couple 1-mana activators for Rez)
Mode will have an entry fee just like arena. Once inside player will be allowed to make any deck possible with their collection, standard or wild. When completed, they'll be asked to make 2 other decks that change 5 cards from the primary deck each (just like blizzards new "specialist" tournament format)
Once locked, player would be matched against other players in the same bracket as them. Best out of 3 (or 5) move on to 3 elimination rounds, essentially quarter finals, semi finals and finals. Players in any stage of these matches will be set against other players in the same stage
Rewards similar to arena, just scaled differently, so 1 arena win per victory in the first phase with quarters win being 6 arena wins, semis 9 and finals 12 wins. This is just a suggestion though
This honestly doesn't seem far-fetched, resource or coding-wise, should be relatively easy to implement. Longer waiting times might be expected, which is the only potential downside to this.
So what do you think? Would this create that feeling of competing in a more serious environment, while being different enough from other modes to feel fresh. Who knows, maybe there's a weakly ban list, where every player can vote for a single card they don't want to see and top 10 cards on the list are banned that week
Wouldn't it be really easy and simple to build an interface where, upon entering play mode (or any mode you choose your own decks), all nine classes are present. Once clicked upon, the classes will display 9 deck options with a "back" button conveniently placed in the bottom corner.
I know I would use most of these.
Having heaps more skins released would be awesome for this kind of thing too. Unfortunately, blizzard knows how to milk that cow, so tough luck there.
I know this site ain't the greatest for it but I have been using Hearthpwn almost as long as the game. Might post on reddit tho, hadn't thought of that, cheers :)
Thing is, I know how people react to stream begging, I know cause I don't like it either. that's why this is gonna be a strictly one time thing, just for commemoration

Evolve and all the other wild>standard cards will leave rotation for this expansion
This isn't ramp, more like skyrocket

Limitations not non-existance. All hunter card draw/generation has some kind of stipulation or limitation

Going strictly with Warcraft lore wouldn't have been sustainable in the long, better that they severed the connection sooner rather than later
2
Run a similar list, just a little bit more top heavy with Blackhowl Gunspire and Grommash Hellscream. Not sure if I'm running Rotface, maybe worth a shot...
