A rogue board wipe, only it gives you one turn to react. It does´nt work with Edwin VanCleef or Questing Adventurer but can be exploited via Deathrattle.
Concept is simple. If you have a minion that gives you +1 Spell Damage it now becomes -1 Spell Damage unless you wipe this creature from the board. You could Fireball him but now your fireball does not deal 6 damage but 5 so you are forced to hit him with your Cult Sorcerer before you can do that. It´s a tech card, no doubt but it could see play in a theoretical Mage prominent meta. Could be funny if copied by an opponent mage via Mirror Entity.
"From a pleasant nap in the forest to an unpleasant death in the forest in no time!"
Concept:
Leech Queen applies Fel Reaver effect to your opponent at the price of suffering it yourself first. It becomes interesting when combined with Barnes, Unearthed Raptor or Moat Lurker, N'Zoth, the Corruptor or Baron Rivendare because it allows you to ignore the Battlecry while still milling your opponent. The Battlecry balances the card as it can ruin your own combo when played for the first time, and deliberately makes it less synergetic with Gang Up, Shadowcaster, Sap or Vanish because, unlike Coldlight Oracle, you can´t benefit from the draw, even with an empty hand.
"Here comes a skinny guy dressed in a tunic with a flimsy stick in his hand... scary!"
Concept:
It´s a Priest only weapon, and it´s legendary so you can only have one in your deck. I love this week´s premise of using the weapon slot for staffs, wands and other magic devices in classes that usually can´t, focusing on magic effects instead of raw damage, like Atiesh does. I also love having legendary class weapons. The idea is to help Priest deal with the first turns in which he does nothing and make him less vulnerable to aggro decks or give him a late game powerful healing mechanic together with Justicar Trueheart. Note that this only works for healing, unlike Prophet Velen, which states healing and damage. I do not play WoW so no lore here, just a plain card idea that helps making Priest viable.
Best value for your 8th turn is always Call of the Wild. It's a nice card and it's always good to have it but not in Midrange Hunter. Good luck with your climb!
