I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the change. On the one hand there are some Death Knights which are flat out broken in Arena, mostly Anduin and Jaina. On the other it is not impossible to beat them (though very hard I'll admit) and this kind of banning sets a somewhat odd precedencce.

Fledgling, now DK, people already calling for Bonemares and Scalebanes... The question becomes: where does it stop? Even if most people agree on what cards are overpowered I still think Blizzard needs to be careful with the Banhammer. Generally speaking I'm leaning more toward banning class cards as every class has access to the neutrals.

It is what it is and I'm sure there'll be a little less tilt every now and again, even though one wouldn't recognise that fact, as the HS players like the Salt too much.

I'll echo the sentiment of most others who have commented. I like it as a change-up to the usual Arena but I would not like seeing it established as the main mode. I'd prefer if Blizz introduced different rules for the Arena for a week a month or so.

My bad, i was going through the same stuff and just discovered that as well. So keep the run at 2 losses and you should get an additional free run. If not I guess you can go ham on the Community Manager ;)

If I understood everything correctly, your current run will be retired and you will receive rewards related to your current number of wins. I don't believe you are able to get two tickets or any other benefit of not finishing this run before the 24th.

Ok then back to the nature of the quest - the real problem here:

The quest says: "duel a friend and you both shall receive 80 gold" (or something to that effect). So the problem here is the understanding of the quest by OP and many others which is: "duel twice and receive 160 gold". But that is clearly not the quest. So the main problem is not the quest but your understanding of the quest - the assumption that you should be entitled to receive the same quest from someone else. But there is no basis for that, even though the thread here on hearthpwn exists to trade it is not the initial idea of the quest.

That's why I don't believe that the quest will be changed in any way.

So you have scammed people, but you are still complaining about receiving a cooldown and a warning? I think the thread seems to work fine for most people. There is a list of scammers the "rules" of using the thread are pretty clear and most players get their quest done via the thread.

Another solution would obviously be to wait for one of your friends to come online and play with them. I usually just give away my quest so to speak. I don't care to much about me receiving 80 gold instantly as well, usually I get hit up to play a duel every now and again by people from my friends list so it evens out more or less eventually.

Excellent stuff, love the Judge. As long as he enters with the line: I am the Law! I'd craft him instantly ;)

If Freeze Shaman is ever to become a thing they need to print some seriously overpowered cards for that archetype, else I don't see it working. I like the design of your card though :)

I tend to agree with the OP, the encounters so far haven't been too difficult. I'd have appreciated it, if Blizzard had added a Heroic Mode like there used to be back in the early adventure. That way it's not necessarily hard/impossible for newcomers but people looking for a challenge will be satisfied as well.

This weeks wing it took me 5 tries for all 3 bosses. Started the Blood Queen one saw the 0-10s and was like... Priest buff anyone?!? Same worked against Sindragosa and against Putricide i just played a Constructed Handlock. Preeeetty easy :)

scroll down to below the picture of Arthas, there are the Arena related changes, that seems pretty official to me.

In that case I would report it, because Blizzard has said no more non-golden common cards. No idea if that will do anything for you but you might help stop others suffering the same fate, I sure hate geting card rewards in general.

I believe golden commons are still possible, was that one golden?
