No. Corrupted Healbot 100%. U generally dont care about the heal for your opponent and 5-cost 6/6 is an amazing tempo play.
No. Venomancer is a pretty good 5-drop, that forces an immediate response. Only bad thing about it is that my opponent always seem to follow up with a Stampeding Kodo :D but a 2/1 1-drop do nothing doesnt seem like a better choice here anyway, so Venomancer it is.
Mby. You could use a good 3-drop and weapon removal is always nice to have, but the taunt is also a decent one and as said before, u need good taunts as WL.
Mby. I would have taken Kooky Chemist, cause i would have had one or two more good taunts, but u only have two 2-drop taunts (which is like no taunts) and one other good taunt. Infested Tauren is not the best taunt ever (and is kinda similar to those 2-drop taunts in terms of stopping power), but like i said many times now, u need taunts as WL, so u dont get smorced too low and be denied from using your hero power to generate card advantage.
Thnx for the reply ,I agree with you on Corrupted Healbot and Venomancer . Most of the games I have played were with rouge where I think 1 drop would have been better so that might have clouded my judgement .I also think i should have taken the 3/8 taunt instead of weapon removal.
Hi there, interesting choices. From your picks I'd say you intent to play heavy control and ends the game with your big drops (not to mention you were given some nasty choices...yikes). If I were given those choices though, I'd lean to cheaper cards. For example;
Shallow Gravedigger over Feeding Time (both buys you some time) Spreading Madness over Blackwater Pirate (I think Blackwater offers too little if you have no weapon..)
Overall, deck looks nice.
Did think about Spreading Madness and Blackwater Pirate but you never know where spreading Madness will hit making it very risky so I went with Blackwater Pirate.
After the new changes I decided to play a arena run after a month break from arena. So I drafted this deck http://www.heartharena.com/arena-run/dl594i I would like to know what do you guys think about the choices I made and any Drafting advice you guys can provide.
My point of view on some difficult choices
Pick 4: Seeing my final list corrupted healbot was probably much better as I have only one 5 drop but I was inclined towards happy ghoul for more early game.
Pick 11: This might have been one of my wrong choices but I had two 6-7 drops and sometimes I do not get enough early game cards later in the draft. I thought ooze was a good pick too because of all the rogue in the arena.
So I think I might have made my deck worse by trying to get some early game when I should have only be seeing value lol. What do you guys think i could have done?
Kripp played this deck on his stream .He lost a match against a similar deck on ranked and made his own list I think. Don't know if it is exactly the same list or dokach made a similar list on his own. Edit: It is a bit different than kripps version you can check that out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm6Hoy9fKak and I agree with @sgfalex and I think it is not that difficult to think about this deck by multiple people.
Primordial Glyph should be much better than Babbling Book to get spells for your combo pieces or to get some removal against aggro and Sludge Belcher is probably better than Tar Creeper in this deck.
Let's assume you mulligan very hard for Keleseth (by which I mean you throw back Shadowstep if you get it without Keleseth.) Most players don't keep a first-turn Shadowstep.
I'll start with chances to get Keleseth:
With the coin, you draw 4 cards, which have a cumulative 70.4% chance NOT to have Keleseth in them:
(29/30) * (28/30) * (27/30) * (26/30) = 0.704
If there's no keleseth, you do it again: 0.704 * 0.704 = 0.495, or 49.5% chance not to get Keleseth in either hand.
Then, on turn 2, you draw another card, which has a 25/26 chance not to be Keleseth:
0.495 * (25/26) = 0.476, or 47.6% chance not to get Keleseth at all the first 2 turns.
Turn that around, and you have a 52.4% chance to get Keleseth.
Without the coin, you draw 3 cards. If none are Keleseth you throw them all back.
Chances of not getting Keleseth to start are:
(29/30) * (28/30) * (27/30) = 0.812 or 81.2% no Keleseth.
Square that and you get 65.9% chance of no Keleseth in mulligan either. And multiply by 26/27 to find chances of no Keleseth first two turns, or 63.5%. Turn that around and you have a 36.5% chance of getting Keleseth with no coin.
You can do something similar to figure out the chances with Shadowstep, but it's a lot of work. I'll hand-wave it and guess that the odds of Keleseth and a shadowstep are somewhere around 10-20% with the coin and under 10% without, but I'll leave that step to someone else.
That math is pretty wrong With the coin, 29/30*28/29*27/28*26/27=26/30=.8666
If you do not get keleseth you hard mulligan for keleseth 25/26*24/25*23/24*22/23=.846 (You cannot get those 4 cards again)
Probability of not getting Keleseth on turn 1 = .8666*.846= .733
So you have 26.7% chance of getting Keleseth on turn 1 if you hard mulligan for it.
Probability to get it on turn 2 =25/26 .733*25/26=.704
So you have 30 % chance of having Keleseth till turn 2 with coin.
I think I will craft Kabal Songstealer as last minute taunt usually fuck me up. Other than that I think it lacks a bit of draw . Whenever I am able to draw 4-5 cards from my Northshire Cleric I usually win but if I cannot get draw from it I lose. I don't know why but I am having a very bad luck when I am playing this deck lol. Just played against a mage that played yogg at 2 health and empty board. My board is full but after yogg he is at 16 health and 4 minions and I have 2 minions. Why? because he got Wisps of the Old Gods, spirit lash, defile , blizzard(yes my minions are frozen), mind blast , unleash the hounds and a few other spells.
I agree that The Lich King is better against aggro-midrange decks but I thought the my matches against them were favourable anyway and wanted a card that would help against priest
anymore, its not whether a player is good or not. You don't have to be good anymore to get to a high win streak. It's all about if you are lucky enough to get a decent draft.
There was always luck involved in arena but that does not mean skill is not required

29/30*28/29*27/28*26/27=26/30=.8666

25/26*24/25*23/24*22/23=.846 (You cannot get those 4 cards again)

.733*25/26=.704
So you have 30 % chance of having Keleseth till turn 2 with coin.
without coin it reduces to 23%

Hey,
Gr8 deck have been playing a modified version of this (because I don't have some cards).
I think I will craft Kabal Songstealer as last minute taunt usually fuck me up. Other than that I think it lacks a bit of draw . Whenever I am able to draw 4-5 cards from my Northshire Cleric I usually win but if I cannot get draw from it I lose.

ohh sorry I meant Cobalt scalebane lol.

bittertide might be bad against druid but not against priest because it is a dragon.

67-12 means 85%.

With twisting nether and siphon soul in the list I think medivh would have more value than lich king. What do you think?
