While I think there is a very small chance that they might continue this archetype with the other two expansions this year, I doubt that we'll see this theme continued next year as well.
I think it's a great theme and a cool idea to give Paladin a very unique mechanic, but we've seen these things come and go, and it seems rather arbitrary what is considered part of a classes' core. Apparantly, the Evolve stuff is something that Shaman will get every once in a while now, for some reason, while Beast Druid and Elemental Shaman lose their last few cards that reminded you of those archetypes.
I mean, they picked up Rogue Secrets again, after ignoring that theme for two years, so there might be some hope. I'd sure like to see more Librams and related cards in the future. But it's just as possible that they drop it again and see it as an experiment.
I really hope they continue it, because it's great control and value support
That said, did you know evolve is now considered a core mechanic of shaman according to their own website? I mean fuck elemental lore right
We have 10 Paladin cards revealed. 7 support buff Paladin, 3 support murlocs. I don't see the problem. You won't get BOTH the legendaries to support the same theme. Look for Libram paladin to be far more viable later down the road when there are more Librams available.
All this talk about class identity and we get a imprisoned murloc instead of a cool demon, and it's even a bad card since it's supposed to support aggro/tempo.
I play mainly pala, just because vargoth I run 2x consecration, avenging wrath and call to adventure, but shaman should be harder since it'll give you double overload
If you want to use kragwa instead of malygos, you should go for burn/miracle shaman with the spirit, getting two extra lava bursts from kragwa and cycling through your spells feels awesome
As a fellow shaman main I agree, so much well rounded tools and support this expansion that I have high hopes for the class (and I'm sure shaman might reign supreme after the rotation).
Tried overload, malygos, even (overload and elemental versions too), shudder (otk and buff version), elemental and the surprisingly successful Eureka/big shaman (spellstone giant shaman but you play 2 6mana lichkings or al'akirs)
Almost all archetypes had a too fair powerlevel to compete with other OP decks, but were we much fun, and they're all getting support, yay!
If it has the downsides like overloading, it should also balance with the upsides eg. Double healing from Halazeel and double spellstone activation (wich I think also has inconsistencies).
I fear for more inconsistencies with the new champion, but damn is he gonna be fun

Both warrior legendaries support control tho

Was talking about the imprisoned minion, who is a murloc for some reason and a really weird 1 drop that only gives you about 2 mana value turn 3.
Compared to other imprisoned minions this is just crap.
The prime might be decent, looks a bit meh compared to the others tho, weird expac for a silly murloc legendary.

Completely agree.

Dragon pala, but it was just a one-off support just like dragon Hunter

1. Players have set time to think about their turn, they are in their full right to use it
2. Some people have shitty internet
Nevertheless, BM ropig, what you're probably referring to, is utter degeneracy

Maybe it can fit a snow giant, should be easy to play before you get to the eureka phase

Electra does overload you... but you don't get any synergy (unbound elemental, omega mind and spellstone)
and I think same for zentimo

Weird, stupid design, too bad shaman is knows for its inconsistencies..
And I was looking forward to electra + haunting visions

I'm using spirit of the shark to make kingsbane OP again, so exited to play with frog spirit, but most of all the hard value of tiger spirit!

I'm afraid it's a popularity contest to get some site traffic, but I would love picking my freebie
