Been playing this deck a bit lately and it's been surprisingly good against Rogue even though the match up feels unfavored. Yet it still manages to come out on top more often than not. You need to be lucky with the discovers though to get Hex or Primordial wave and also Altered Chord is a big need.
For one thing it has more charges and can be played earlier than Horn. This lets you start chipping away damage a couple of turns before you can pop off with Turn the Tides.
I don't understand the Galakrond freeze effect? I can HP and then roll the rest of my turn and that minion stays there or something?
Previously if you wanted to keep 1 minion that you upgraded so that you could upgrade it again next turn then you would have to freeze the whole board. Now with the upgraded card frozen you'll get a new fresh board the next turn rather than having to freeze it all just for 1 minion.
Why does it matter if people can transition into murlocs with Primalfin when it was only Megasaur that made a move like that viable. With a late transition you will have low health, low attack murlocs that you have to individually give poison and who will never get Divine Shield unless it's Amalgadon.
Poor shaman. They could come up only with this mediocre deck. Wishful thinking
I've been playing Quest Value shaman (no Galakrond) and it's been pretty good so far. Lots of long games though but I've even managed to outvalue Galakrond Priest a few times.
One way to reduce the damage a bit would be to buff some builds that use cheaper minions. I think it's sort of good despite murlocs being so dominant they often don't use only high tier cards so they rarely high super hard. It would be good if some of the other late game builds also was dominated by lower tier cards more. Perhaps if demons was a bit more common in late game then they could be a bit similar since Wrath Weaver doesn't hit hard.
One problem in terms of damage is that Amaldagon slots into most late game decks so you have more tier 6 minions in builds. Fortunately it tends to give itself Taunt so that it gets killed easier.
The problem is whether it is worth it to put a card in your deck on the off chance of getting a 1 mana 3/4. That's simply not impactful enough. A weapon with a situational use like this needs to be decent by itself or it won't see play.
The effect on this one is very situational since it's hard to play it the same turn as you play a totem unless you wait until the late game but then the benefit of it goes down. Any totem you drop on turn 2 or 3 will be gone by the time you can play this on 4.
At 4 mana it should have been a more worth while weapon in itself like 4/2. Now I doubt it will see regular play depending on how the meta develops. But it doesn't look like we will have a slow meta where late game totem duplication will be good.
Yep, it was in his best custom cards of all time video. 8 mana Survival Kit that added a Torch (Forgotten Torch), a flare (Flare), and axe (Woodcutters Axe), a small knife (Shiv), an apple (Witchwood Apple) and a cooking pot (Witches Cauldron) to your hand.
The most obvious choice would be to remove the rush effect on Mad Genius. All other heroes except Frost Lich Jaina had a one-off effect. Getting a permanent effect other than the new hero power is way to strong. Especially with the access to both good mechs that work with the deck to begin with but also the easy access to more mechs through the hero power and omega assembly.
Removing the rush wouldn't ruin any of the warrior decks. It would simply serve as a good balance option.
The things that will always put Hearthstone above all other online card games I've seen is the watchability. No other card games comes close to being as entertaining as Hearthstone as a spectator and eventhough that is outside the scope of playing the game I feel that it's till a part of the experience. While not being in games myself I like to watch Twitch or youtube for interesting decks or cool plays and that adds to the whole enjoyment of the meta, the players and the game itself.
I believe this is part of the reason why Artifact has failed so. Having not played that game I found it completely unwatchable so I never had any urge to try it.

Wait, this also gives you your opponents spells right? Since it doesn't talk about you playing spells only spells in general.

Excellent with Prismatic Lens. If you hit this with Prismatic Lens then you are guaranteed to have a 10-cost spell in your hand.

If you google Анка-пулемётчица instead you would get 108000 hits. Transliteration of cyrillic can be a bit dodgy sometimes.

I like using Whirliglider and Exlodinator in my Token Druid. Those add extra pressure even when you get cleared due to the bombs.
