Thanks to @Fluxflashor and all the team! I felt somehow like a part of the team a few years ago, when I was reporting 20 spam threads a day xD The thing I enjoyed from Hearthpwn the most was discovering new, out-of-meta decks, and discussing how to make my favourite classes or archetypes work when they were not strong in the meta.
I know it has to be really frustrating to not be informed about what's going on. I hope you get more information about the reasons of Hearthpwn closing!
Last but not least: WE NEED A NEW HOME. Talk to Blizzard: their official forums are dead compared to the amount of activity in Hearthpwn; talk to other quality Hearthstone-devoted sites. I'm sure many of us would happily move to whatever site you would join in the near future. And that's a lot of audience that could be valuable to any hearthstone-related site.
Again, thanks to all the team, and good luck in any projects you decide to join or create! All the best,
Interesting. I got Akali from packs but it never worked on my hands. Maybe I'd try something similar to your deck (I don't have all the legendaries so I'd tweak it a bit). Thanks for sharing!
Many people say that if you want to play non-netdecks, just play against friend. However, your friends are not always online so there should be a mode that people cannot grind for gold, which are mostly the cause of the downfall of casual mode. This fresh mode should be named "Casual" and the old "casual" should be renamed "Unranked". Casual is meant for fun and pure meme decks while Unranked is for gold grinding and meta-deck testing.
That would work perfectly. But I don't think Blizzard wants to add a new button to the interface to have 1 additional game mode.
Well, you can't control what others play, but you can play whatever you want, Id' played Dragon Paladin this season and I plan to play Pirate Pogo Rogue the next one. For me the problem is that casual is not casual anymore. Of course people plays what is better to climb in ranked, but not in casual, casual needs a fix SOON.
I have not yet played enough, I went 6-9 (W-L) last week; I tweaked my deck a bit and yesterday I finished 4-2 (rank 10 >>> 9). Nothing to write home about, but I'll keep playing it for the rest of the season to see how the deck performs.
I'm also experimenting with a list including Novice Engineer, the synergy with the shuffle cards helps a lot in drawing the pogos fast enough. I'll post my deck when I have tested it more. Long live pogo-hopper players!
Jokes aside, it's a challenge to make Priest work in this meta, but I don't think there has been enough time since last expansion to test ALL possible priest decks, so please keep experimenting and share your successful tests. I'm still trying to make Dragon Paladin and Pogo Rogue work, so I have no time for Priest right now... Maybe in June?
Even without a payed account it's quite useful, just look at specific decks with a large sample (high number of games played). It's interesting to see, when a deck has few games, how daily winrate jumps sometimes from 40 to 90% in different days, because numbers are so small, that the luck of the few players playing that exact deck have a big impact on the overall statistics. But for popular decks with many played games, statistics are rock solid.

I can't believe a site with such a large user base is not profitable. If it is not, they are doing something wrong.

You don't need to do that, Flux opened a new site, it's not yet as full-featured as Hearthpwn, but it will eventually be: outof.cards

Saw it only a few minutes after my post xD See you there!

Normally not, specially if they have Russian names, as I can't understand anything they write xD

I also play a lower curve, the only cards I have in my version above 5 mana is the Crowd Roaster. Here you have it:

No problem if Priest is dead, it got Mass Resurrection xD

Don't give up! I still have hope on Dragon Paladin! I'm still experimenting, no great decks to share (yet).

Tunnel Blaster is too slow, I'd play good old Abomination instead.
