It's all random. Pick Mage, Warlock or Priest, as they tend to do well in control matchups and control it is, since you get to play all your cards when no one has an actual plan to end the game.
My first game and it was a win already. Opponent played Shudderwock.
Biggest takeaway was to start emptying your hand early. I was stuck with cards in hand for 2 turns on fatigue. Also hadn't he killed my Vilespine I would have ran it again a Annoy'o and lost. Only change I made to the deck was replace Edwin with MCT because I don't own him.
It's like they completely forgot they made a Quest for Druid that requires 5 attack. This would have been a good fit, but instead of making it 5/4 or 5/3 they go with these stats. Lame. But I guess I'm the only person on the planet who's still interested in that Quest.
Recruit/Devolve shenanigans was more meant on a positive note. And I was talking about Guild Recruiter and future possible recruit cards. That was something I liked about the card. Imo 12 armor is just terribly much and 0 mana is on the other extreme end. It's a card of extremes and doesn't showcase 'pay by armor' in a healthy way. Sorry for not being more clear on that. My mistake.
Yeah, about that. What's that card supposed to do? You wrote in your post that it has "great synergy" with Kathrena, but Kathrena doesn't care about cost. Was that effect supposed to be a Battlecry ? Right now there's very few cards that actually care about what mana cost the minions in your deck have. Is this supposed to be like Barnabus the Stomper?
Voodoomaster Vex: Interesting take on the Baron Rivendare card archetype. With 5 mana it's probably too expensive, but I like how it protects the totems.
The Trap Room: Logical quest for hunter. Maybe busted. But sounds fun.
Gutmook: Not quite Loatheb, but I'd take it. Ensuring at least one attack most of the times is nice.
Lyris the Wild Mage: If you already have an Arcane Missiles or a 0 cost spell in your hand this is 18 damage on turn 10. What.
Played against that today. Was super chill. Did almost nothing til turn 6, then started dropping Jades and died. I was still curious, checked hsreplay.net and it has like 47% winrate. Not sure what that's about.

That was a great tip. Thank you.

Oh! I waited so long for HS puzzles! I expected them in a brawl sometime, but this is even better!
And I can sooo relate to wanting to tell people about how hard it was to make something... not noticeable. They deserve credit for that.

Just had two Zola the Gorgon in Starting Hand. That makes for free infinite 2/2s. Easy win.

Always active means this doesn't close at the end of your turn and minions attacking your hero will take 2 damage.

I see, there's an updated version now.

Candlebeard: Balanced Warsong Commander. Kinda bland.
Kraxx: Armor payment is a cool idea. The card not so much. Recruit/Devolve shenanigans.
Bristlesnarl: So much text for so little effect.
Chronomancer Inara: This + Apprentice + Mage Quest + Anton = Win. Discount Exodia.
Elder Jari: What are Armor cards? Just write "Whenever you gain armor (from a card), gain an additional 5 armor."
Frostfur: I don't believe in Freeze Shaman, but this could help.
Overseer Mogark: That's the worst way to deal damage to your own minions I've ever seen. 4 mana to trigger Patron twice. Wow.
Mushhuckster Max: That's just Kazakus lite. How lame.
Seriona: Cute. Weird wording. "Hit." What? Wish it'd work with Shadowword Horror.

I'd love https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/fan-creations/212391-weekly-card-design-competition-7-07-submission?comment=89 for Exodia Mage.
This + Sorcerer's Apprentice + Time Warp is much nicer than the usual 4 cards + Time Warp, lol.
