What's your point? I made this guide a month ago when no decks were really refined yet. People didn't know whether or not to use Xaril, Leeroy, Deckhand, Shadow Strike, Shadowcaster, etc. so I shared my experiences and personal preference. I didn't say it was original and I sure as hell didn't say there weren't any other guides.
I'm glad I didn't just get golden Druid when combo was around, this actually feels rewarding. Next up is Priest, but since it's the end of the season and I want top 100 I'll play Miracle until June. Considering I only play Standard, Priest might take awhile..
I'M SO SAD I QUEUED INTO REYNAD AND WAS GOING TO STOMP HIM BUT I DISCONNECTED WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY I WANTED TO WATCH THE VOD OF HIM SAYING HOW LUCKY I WAS
What rank was this at? It's not uncommon for players at lower ranks to play odd decks. They usually replace cards because they think another is better, or because they don't have it. I could totally see someone thinking "Wow, Reno is OP" and putting him in every deck (even one with duplicate cards). It's possible he just drew all his duplicates at the beginning and they happened to be tempo Mage cards. Or, Mage decks generally run a lot of card draw, so perhaps he thought Reno would be consistent enough to work most of the time. Either way, it sounds like you just got unlucky.
Thalnos is, has, and always will be in nearly every single competitive Rogue deck. Craft him first, technically Leeroy has more use in other classes but Thalnos still has use in freeze Mage and is a great utility card.
I have a playlist with stuff from Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc all the way to Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, etc and then to Dave Brubeck, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, etc. I have a pretty diverse taste in general but Rock, Jazz, and Hip-Hop/R&B are my favorites. It honestly depends on what mood I'm in or what deck I'm playing. After I get salty I play some Lamb of God.
Tomb Pillager. That card single-handedly made Auctioneer playable again. Also, the removal of Naxx/GvG in Standard didn't hurt Rogue much (and helped a lot) and the Blade Flurry nerf was a lot less detrimental than most of us predicted.
I actually WISH I'd face Shamans. My last 12 games were all either Warlock or Warrior. Both of those classes are by FAR my least favorite right now, what the hell is going on?
I just looked through my friend list, and I count 34 people that I met through games. I've had intelligent and civil conversations with most of them, so I don't think the system is flawed. Sometimes they start off mad, but as long as they're not the person saying "I hope your family gets cancer" and other empty insults like that, don't try to troll them. One time I was playing Rogue and I topdecked lethal (I don't remember what it was, I needed like double prep + double sap + oil + evis), the guy added me and said "You needed those exact cards, wow you're so damn lucky" and I just agreed that it was lucky. I've found that if insults aren't slung around, people can be perfectly friendly even after a devastating loss.
However, when people tell me they hope I die or some other stupid remark I'd expect from an 11 year old, I tell them how sad their lives must be that they need to insult anonymous strangers over a video game to feel big. They usually have me deleted before I can respond, though.
Honestly, Legendaries shouldn't be allowed in arena. The game would be much more fair. how am I supposed to counter a fuckg=ing Chromaggus and a Leeroy when I have the shittiest Commons in the world
THIS. I fucking went 2-3 today with a decent Rogue deck (nothing crazy, but at least 7 wins) because I faced 2 Dr. Booms and a Tirion--at 1 and 2 wins. What the hell is up with arena lately?
Shaman, Warrior, Shaman, Warrior, Shaman, Warrior. Two brainless and obnoxious classes, and I all I play against. Honorable mentions include perfect curve midrange Hunters and zoo players.
I've had ridiculously good results with it, I was playing Astral Druid and hanging in the dumpster (rank ~1500 Legend) and climbed back out in like 5 games with token Druid. I've won 8 games in a row, I'm honestly surprised how consistent it's been.

Wrathion would be a sweet Rogue skin. I'd be happy if they'd just give him a card already.

5 Warriors in a row. How fucking fun. It doesn't matter what they're playing, control, C'Thun, aggro, tempo, it's all so boring and annoying.
