ok this does no face damage so maybe aggro secret hunters would still run explosive trap. but this is a stronger card, no doubt about it, 3 damages instead of 2 is a big difference. biggest flaw of explosive and consecration is doing only 2 (with cons u can use pyromancer). also, as someone pointed out, fact that it isnt triggered by weapons can be an advantage: you can trigger explosive on an empty board and then you drop your minions, with this at least 1 minion must take 3 damages. it costs 1 more but it's worth it
well maybe you know better than me how going face with random cards, maybe you got more experience with those types of hunters (i use others). or maybe you're someone who cannot avoid commenting "incredibly op! 2 in every deck!!1" on every single hunter card.
but i respectfully remark that if you put 2 random cards generators, you 1) must cut some cards you know they're useful 2) u mess up zul'jin, because u'll fill your hand with random cards instead of dire frenz'd beasts and similar stuff. probably it's a good card for aggro secret hunters and such, but definitely not such a great card "two in EVERY hunter deck!!"
zul'jin already fills your hand. it will be your choice if with random cards generated by this or with some dire frenzy-empowered beasts/random spells from marked shot/unleash the beast spells. you cant have it all

quest mech pala also is a super powerful deck, but no one talks about it, they're too busy talking about warrior as if there arent other unfair decks

to me major problem is that it doesnt offers you mass dispel vs board of buffed/magnetized minions
