Knowing what is in your opponents hand is sooo good. Also, it is just an awesome original effect. Best card yet! 10/10 in the fun department. Random with skill.
Got blood queen easy with DK warlock, all minion deck- 1st try (well 2nd including just trying with a standard list to figure out what was going on).
Putricide I got with secret hunter - replace standard cloaked huntess with secret eater/flare and try to start with secretkeeper in your hand- got it on 2nd try,
Sindragosa though-- yikes! Haven't figured that one out yet.
Drafted Flare in Arena today (hunter was the best class offered) and was shocked to discover that the mage I faced got a copy with his Mana Bind secret! I understand that flare in a spell, but the text clearly states that it destroys secrets, Mana Bind is a secret right? The main point of Flare is to destroy secrets. It seems like that should resolve first. Just like Eater of Secrets and Mirror Image- the Eater destoys the secret before it can go off and copy the eater.
I loathe quest rogue and think it's terrible for the game. However, I've made my peace with it. It really is quite easy to beat with a faster deck. I personally go for aggro murloc pally. It tears quest rogue a new one. Also, I feel I have a decent chance against any other deck out there, even pirate (though they do have an advantage I think). I regularly beat quest warrior even though I feel like they should win.
Sorry man, you just gotta find a new deck sounds like.
Yeah, yeah. I know, I've whooped it with aggro too (zoo in my case). Still, even pirate warriors take 6 turns to kill you. No way did the developers mean for the quest to be done that early.
Love the new tavern brawl, as I get to test drive the decks hadn't crafted yet. However, it proved to me once and for all how absolutely, stupidly broken the rogue quest is. 1st time I've ever played it and I managed to finish the quest AND prep it out on turn four. Killed mirror opponent on TURN 5! That is stupid. STUPID!
I feel like the matchmaker system got reset, because I used to face a lot of legend cardbacks and now I'm facing a lot of folks that I beat after they trade when they have lethal. Also, I do feel hunter got a lot better at arena after this new release.
BUT I'm pretty sure all of you defending this quest are doing so because you are playing it! Aggro doesn't even work most the time. Believe me I tried it. Call me a scrub or whatever I don't care.
The rogue quest is broken. More broken than anything in hearthstone history.
I have never called for a nerf before and I've thought many of them have been unneeded. However the rogue quest is so obviously broken, I honestly wonder if they forgot to test it.
The problem isn't that you lose. It's that you have almost no control over it. Nothing I do will win me a game where on turn five his board is full of 5/5's and his hand isn't even empty. Even if I cleared that board, it would be back the next turn, perhaps charging back.
Sure, the rogue COULD not draw the right combo, but that has nothing to do with my playing. Not fun. Not interactive.
Its exactly what Blizzard says they don't like.
Get on it guys. You screwed the pooch on this one. Fix it.

C'thun all the way! Getting three C'thuns and double health won me warrior handily. I think I did permastealth and +1/+1 zoo for warlock.

Pretty sure you are all delusional, that was a boss card, for Arthas. It's not collectible.

8-2 so far with a control-ishy rogue deck. Ancient Mage the surprising MVP, getting all sorts of wild clears with the spell damage.

Seems like an obvious bug, right?

You all know this is true.

Yeah, tried that. It works, occasionally. If you draw it.
