Now this, this is a Meta-Defining card! This is easily one of the best cards in the expansion, and combined with the other tools that shaman got, and standard, will most likely make many forms of shaman viable. Its like Evolve, but better. And you're probably thinking, why is this better? Similar to druid, they gave it one of the best stat-lines in the game.

Example: Totem Shaman. Turning one of your Totems into a Doomsayer, or any other garbage two drop for that matter. Midrange Shaman is a deck that wants you in the lead. Why would you potentially shoot yourself in the foot with that deck. Not only this, but evolving say, a Fireguard Destroyer or many of the other strong Overload cards that Shaman has would be counter-intuitive.

(Overload cards are getting a boost with Eternal Sentinel)

With a card like this, it is easy to be too optimistic. This does work well with all of the Shaman legendaries in one way or another.
The new age Midrange Shaman is not the only way to play, especially considering that in wild, Malygos Shaman, and Aggro shaman(also in standard) might be terrifyingly strong, with Rumbling Elemental and Brann Bronzebeard Battlecry Shaman looking to be a fun gimmick deck similar to Hobgoblin Warlock. A great card(I gave it a "very good" rating), but not Meta-Defining like Master of Evolution. The easiest comparison I can give is Shield Block to Shieldmaiden

Now Hallazeal the Ascended, That Sh!t is hype.

(My opinion on this card with Totem Shaman took a complete turn)(It is actually terrible in that deck.)

I really don't think this card is as great as people are putting it out to be, and this is coming from a Shaman player. This card is certainly not BAD, or even Mediocre, but it is not the end-all-be-all of the game. (ON SECOND THOUGHT, NO IT ISN'T!) I guess I will have to test this card out in two days to see if it works in a Midrange Deck. I guess that's just part of the Old Gods Hype. Also, Al'Akir the Windlord and pretty much every other Shaman legendary hype!

    WHAT,

    WHAT THE F**K

In all honesty, this isn't the most broken card ever, but it certainly is crazy. The only issue is that similar to Earth Elemental, it loses out to hard removal, and no matter how many locked crystals you have, overload is always a detriment. EVEN THEN Eternal Sentinel is a thing! And so are the evolution cards! And ancestral spirit!

A great, great card! Not meta-defining, but very good. It is like Lava Shock but better. I do think that in a semi-overload based deck, you should run both. I do think that Lava Shock is better when you already have minions on the board, and a huge tray of locked crystals at the same time, but in any other scenario, this card is better. Well Played Blizzard! ASTONISHING!(lol)

I wonder why it's not a Beast, especially since Princess Huhuran (also a Silithid) is classified as a Beast...

I know right! I don't think it would be important to be one, especially because of Carrion Grub, but it's little things like this that really are weird...
