I think I like it? Doesn't hit Rusty Hook or the Upgrade! weapon though.
It's actually better that way, use those for early game weapons. You don't have to contend with war axe in your hand and this card is guaranteed to hit reaper, which you can drop on turn 5 for 18 damage and a turn 7 kill. 12 damage is an easy gap to fill with 4 turns to do it. You would honestly just need to keep a lot of removal.
Well, maybe. But what if it's turn 5 and you're not holding Arcanite Reaper, but you do have N'Zoth's First Mate? With Bloodsail Cultist you can go N'Zoth's -> Cultist for a 2/4 Rusty Hook. Much better than nothing. This card would just be a vanilla 3/3. Definitely has potential but I'm not sure it will turn out to be better than Cultist or have a place in Pirate Warrior.
Maybe one day in Wild there will be enough hero-power-oriented cards to make this usable in a fun deck, if not a powerful deck. So I wouldn't disenchant it if I got it, but I certainly wouldn't be happy about it.
I don't think it's that complicated. Any card game involves getting the right balance between luck and skill. Right now the pendulum is probably too far in the direction of luck. Include fewer RNG effects in future expansions and problem solved.
The only card that is really broken is Yogg. I don't think that card was supposed to be competitively viable, but it is. They screwed up.
This card doesn't really exist to be playable. It exists so that effects that summon random 10-cost minions (Forbidden Shaping) have a chance of summoning a vanilla minion.
I get that it takes a few months for casual players to get even this much dust. And I get that these decks are not all that fun for some people. But they are definitely competitive and they are definitely makeable by anyone who makes any sort of time commitment to the game.

Best designed cards, after Dirty Rat, are Drakonid Operative, Doppelgangster, and Wrathion. Honorable mention to Devolve.

Destroys shamans. Doesn't kill my stealthed Gadgetzan Auctioneer. I love this card.

I like the design of this card a lot. It might not turn out to be strong (I voted "very good"), but it demands smart play.

Although I don't think this card is good, it might make some Inner Fire shenanigans slightly easier than they were.
-play this Turn 5
-Turn 6 play the new 3-mana card that gives +3 health Kabal Talonpriest, then Divine Spirit then Inner Fire for 32 damage to face.

Crafting Bloodmage Thalnos is kind of like spending a lot of money on a good belt. It isn't flashy, but you'll wear it all the time.
Almost an auto-include in Rogue. Helps most Mage decks. Worth considering in any deck that benefits from spell damage.

There are at least 3 strong and cheap decks right now.
Midrange Hunter takes only 2 epics (Call of the Wild) and one adventure card (Quick Shot).
Zoolock needs no epics at all but two adventure cards (Dark Peddler and Imp Gang Boss).
Shaman needs 2 epics (Doomhammer) and one adventure card (Tunnel Trogg).

I subbed a tome for one of the acolytes and have liked the change.

My first was Shifter Zerus. ugh
I got 4 legendaries in 53 packs so I can't complain too much. But the others were Herald Volazj, Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale, and yes The Boogeymonster, nothing very solid unless Herald turns out to be good.

I never autoconcede, but I am most tempted to do it against priest.
