Without Brawl, the only major AoE removal Warriors would have would be Warpath - a card that deals 5 damage to ALL minions for 10 Mana, or Plague of Wrath which requires an additional activator. Without it, they'd have to use a removal spell for each minion while basically every other card has an AoE removal for board wipes. No clue what's your point here.

Plague of Wrath, if only Warrior had a way to damage minions...

    Now do Rogue!

If you're going to say "THaT TaKEs MulTIpLE CaArds!",

    Then do Palidan too.

Vanish for Rogues, Enter the Coliseum for Paladins (and yes, it's somewhat good in Control decks. Could be 5 Mana, tho).

You're comparing the monthly cardbacks to a cardback that actually requires you to achieve something. This comparison is flawed. The only objective you had to achieve was to be a player back then. I'd say an effort would be an achievement you put deliberate energy into getting it, not "Just play the game!" or "Buy packs!"

So far, it doesn't seem like they're going to return Event cardbacks, or those you had to spend money on, but rather the monthly ones. Don't really see why that's controversial.

Unfortunately, Wild is not as diverse as it cound be. Even on Platin - Diamond level you can start to see a lack of diversity, despite not being Legend. It's astonishing to see how often I had to face rogues lately playing Tess Greymane + Togwaggle's Scheme on the same turn, or Priests just being annoying to play against. The rest are Aggro decks (Secret Mages, Discardlock, Odd Paladin) or uninteractive combo decks.

Where are the Warriors? The Shamans? It's been months since I've faced a non-Aggro Hunter/Paladin or Non-Jade/Non-Combo Druid. Can't even remember when I last saw a Midrange deck in Wild. Even Control Mages or Renolocks are rare to find.

Personally, I find that quite disappointing, as there are a lot of potential synergies, playstyles and unique decks out there -  but you rarely see them, and it's too often the same for a mode of that potential.

Neither Aggro nor Combo decks are interactive in my opinion, they require you to have the perfect answer on hand or get your combo/victory quicker than they theirs. I wish there'd be more ways to interrupt your opponent without having to tech in cards that are a dead slot in most other matchups.

Cardbacks are in-tradable, you can't assign a market value to them, so the only value they have is the one you give them for yourself.

There’s no more value to card backs than to cards. When Blizz shuts down the servers, we’ll sell our collections to buy some MTG cards. No wait.

That doesn't really add anything to the topic, unfortunately. You can use the same argument to dis-value basically anything, up to life itself.

Basically the title. The only arguments I've seen so far are that it makes them less exclusive (which is exactly the reason they're re-introduced to begin with) or less valuable to collectors. Cardbacks are in-tradable, you can't assign a market value to them, so the only value they have is the one you give them for yourself.

posted a message on "I want this game to be balanced!" VS "I want to win at all cost!"

It's quite ironic to see that many people claiming that someone posts too much useless stuff, while adding nothing to the topic themselves.

Personally, my preferences change depending on the mood. When I just want to get the rewards, I take the best tools available and go. Otherwise I take what's most fun for me to play; the victory is then secondary to me - the primary preference is being entertained. The first preference doesn't require balancing, the second does.

Well in case of Spreading Plague probably a lot of ... bugs.

This + any major AoE = steal all your opponent's minions for 2 cards. Yeah, this will definitely swing a lot of matches.

Does something like this counts or does it have to interact with Dragons in general, not just one type of Dragon? Otherwise I'd go with:

posted a message on So why exactly is Blizzard working on another Dungeon Run adventure again rather than trying something new?
    Quote from XanXon >>

You could do the same in a PvP setting to recreate Teamfight Tactics in Hearthstone, so instead of fighting against the AI, you have to challenge yourself against other players that can also use spells from their hand in addition to trading.

     Well, guess who's laughing now.

Purification: This just seems to be a power creeped Keeper of the Grove. It's not straight up better, but definitely has a higher power level, especially since it combines Silence with damage for half the Cost and also has much higher synergy with Keeper Stalladris and Spell Damage.

Tyrande Whisperwind: Compared to Lyra the Sunshard that seems to be a bit much, especially since druid has access to a lot of low-Cost spells.

Shadow Word: Predate: Creative idea, yet unusable in Priest decks and therefore not really fitting the restriction of  making "a card that could more or less function in BOTH classes".

Kirin Tor Spellbook: So far my favorite.

Leper Gnome  Unearthed Raptor  Necrium Vial

Am trying to build a viable deck for a while now, but most often than not I'm not even able to build up any Raptor. It costs just sooo much Mana, even with Taurissan ticks. Any tips/deck list?
